Waste to Wonder Theme Park, Delhi: Best 10 things
The goal of the waste to wonder park of Delhi – development is to stimulate the activities of Swachh Bharat Abhiyan (or India’s Clean Up Movement), while at the same time earning income from tourism while waste becomes wealth.

The main attraction of Waste to Wonder Park in Delhi are replicas of the Taj Mahal (20 feet) in various sizes and heights, the Great Pyramid of Giza (18 feet), the Eiffel Tower (60 feet), The Leaning Tower of Pisa (25 feet), Christ the Redeemer Statue Rio de Janeiro (25 feet), Colosseum of Rome (15 feet), Statute of Liberty (30 feet).
-The park is located near the Sarai Kale Khan interstate bus station and covers an area of seven acres. It was inaugurated by then Home Minister Rajnath Singh near Sarai Kale Khan, New Delhi.
-Seven replicas were made from scraps of car parts and other metal waste such as fans, rods, iron sheets, nuts, bicycle and motorcycle parts, disused sewer pipes, recycled materials such as typewriters, household appliances, old benches, scrap metals and old appliances that collected dust in SDMC’s municipal warehouses. When creating the park, about 150 tons of scrap were used, 5 artists, 7 auxiliary artists, 70 welders and assistants.

-This theme park is also known as the Seven Wonders Park and the Wonder Park. Waste to Wonder Park is the newest member of the Delhi landmark list.
-The South Delhi Municipal Corporation (SDMC) made arrangements for parking capacity and introduced a separate entrance to Improve public transportation. The park looks like a small developed island in the densely populated area of the Sarai Kale Khan interstate metro station and the outer ring road.
-The best time to visit is after dark because the structure looks amazing when lit up. Usually the park timings are 11 AM to 11 PM.
-The South Delhi Municipal Corporation (SDMC), the government agency behind the park’s construction, used wind and solar power to illuminate the Wonders of the World Park, which is essentially an abandoned art project. This commissioned Art project aims to effectively manage urban waste as well as improve public spaces.
– The park was built in less than six months and covers a total of five acres of land.
– Students from municipal schools, senior citizens, and children under the age of three are all admitted for free. The entry cost for children aged 3 to 12 years is Rs 25, while the fee for adults is Rs 50.
