We, at TFI, have an apt suggestion for you, and that is Antim. ‘Antim: The Final Truth’ starring Aayush Sharma, Salman Khan and Mahima Makhwana, is directed by Mahesh Manjrekar. Surprisingly, the movie turned out to be a great package of action, romance, and drama despite Salman Khan’s average acting skills and regular one-liners.
Aayush’s ‘Antim: The Final Truth’ is actually his beginning
An official adaptation of the hit Marathi film Mulshi Pattern, Antim is set on the premise of the age-old ordeal of farmers losing their land to mafias. Rahul (Aayush Sharma), in order to seek revenge after his father’s land was snatched, becomes one of the most dreaded gangsters who allies with land mafias of Pune.
Sharma’s new look in Antim with bronzed make-up, kohl-lined eyes, a beefed-up body – and renewed purpose seems quite attractive. Given the daring of Rahul, gangster Nanya (Upendra Limaye) is impressed by him and tea seller Manda (Mahima Makwana) becomes his love interest. To oppose him, enters the police officer Rajveer Singh, that is, Salman Khan.
Antim: My honest review
Antim can be depicted as the commercial version of Mulshi Pattern. Though the movie has somewhere met the expectations, it fails to portray the realistic situations in some scenes. After failing as an actor in his debut film Loveyatri, the movie is essentially an opportunity to relaunch Ayush’s career.

The authenticity of the cop and gangster’s character seems a bit suspicious because the director has commercialised them. The background music is commendable as it perfectly assists the entry of characters and the commencements of action sequences. The supporting cast including Upendra Limaye, Nikiten Dheer, Jisshu Sengupta, and Sayaji Shinde have delivered a convincing performance and played a vital role in making the movie binge-worthy. Mahima Makhwana as Manda has marked her debut with the film. As Aayush’s love interest, her acting seems effortless.
Talking about Aayush, the actor has surprised the audience with his acting skills. His eyes full of rage, demonic laugh and body language in almost every sequence makes you forget the average performance he delivered in his debut film. Salman khan, on the contrary, had nothing new to offer. Though he had performed well, but some of his dialogues and action sequences were reminiscence of his old characters. The action sequences, unlike various other sequences, looked quite realistic in every manner.
Antim is a wholesome entertainer and the credit for the same goes to Mahesh Manjrekar’s direction.
