Indian stand-up comedian Vir Das is the talk of the town these days for all the wrong reasons. The Comedian, with his shameful attempt to demean India on the International platform, has vindicated that liberals can stoop to any low to peddle their agenda. On the backdrop of Vir’s humiliating monologue, Narottam Mishra, Home Minister of Madhya Pradesh, has stepped in with a remarkable decision to present him a ban from Madhya Pradesh for his deliberate attempt to look elite by insulting the country.
Narottam’s nationalistic retaliation:
In what can be seen as an exemplary move by Madhya Pradesh Minister, Vir Das has been provided with the exact treatment he deserves for his anti-national monologue. Narottam Mishra has banned him from the state prohibiting him to perform in the state until he apologizes. Mishra said, “Congress leader Rahul Gandhi also defames India on foreign land. MP Congress chief Kamal Nath also does it.” “Such type of people like him, I call them ‘vidushak’ (jester) would not be allowed to perform in the state. If he (Das) apologises, we are going to think over it.”
Vir Das’s controversial ‘Two Indias’:
Actor and Comedian Vir recently performed at The Kennedy Center theatre in Washington D.C. He read a monologue titled ‘Two Indias’ in which he made a disgraceful attempt to defame India.
He began with the statement that compares worshipping women during the day and gang-raping them at night. Well, this comes as a shocking move from Vir Das as he is the one who once had objectified women and had made some derogatory statements.

He stated, “I come from an India where the AQI (air quality index) is 9,000 but we still sleep on the roof and look at the stars.” Well, the statement itself vindicates that comedian has negligible information on the matter as AQI above 300 is considered hazardous. The AQI maxes out 999 so 9000 is a figure that only liberal ‘intellectuals’ like Vir Das can formulate.
However, facts do not matter for these liberal elites, only propaganda does.
Narottam Mishra- the torchbearer of Hindutva:
It is pertinent to note that Narottam Mishra came forward to teach the advertisement industry a lesson when it tried to hurt Hindu sentiment through its ‘woke’ ads. After the official Instagram page of Sabyasachi released a promotional advertisement that featured heterosexual and same-sex couples wearing The Royal Bengal Mangalsutra, Narottam Mishra had taken the responsibility to take strict action against the designer for its controversial ad.
In the aftermath of Narottam’s strict actions, the advertisement was pulled down and the fashion label apologised for its campaign. Narottam had also played an active role in preparing legal provisions on the issue of Love Jihad in the state. Political pundits, time and again, have argued that if there is a watertight and a firm Love Jihad law anywhere in the country, it is Madhya Pradesh and the major credit for it goes to Mishra.

Instead of praising the country’s remarkable success to administer 110 crore corona vaccines in record time, to teach China a worth-remembering lesson on the border and touching milestones in economic factors, the joker cum Comedian made fun of his own country.
Well, Guru Dutt’s dialogue- ‘Jinhe naaz hai Hind par woh kahan hain’ seems to depict the scenario of today’s India. However, leaders like Narottam Mishra, with his actions, have made it quite evident that no anti- India elements will be tolerated, and this is what exactly India needs these days.
