Indian Cricket team instructed to eat only Halal by BCCI

BCCI, Cricket, Halal, Food

Since the last few months, the Indian team has been falling for the new religion of woke, and it clearly impacted the performance in the T20 World Cup. After the unnecessary and uncalled decision of taking the knee, BCCI has now told the team to follow a strictly Halal diet. The team has been told to not eat pork and “If anyone wants to have meat then it should be only in halal form, players can’t eat any other form of meat whatsoever,” as per a report by Sports Tak.

Religious certification of food products is becoming a big issue in India, as extremist Muslims are monopolizing the regulation of non-vegetarian as well as vegetarian food, through Halal certification. Now even companies like Patanjali are forced to take Halal certification from various Muslim certification bodies, which charge hefty money ranging from 500 rupees to 5,000 rupees per food product.

Muslim monopoly in meat market:

According to a study by Adroit Market research, the global halal market is worth more than 4.54 trillion dollars. To give a comparison, this is more than the GDP of Germany, India, or the United Kingdom. By 2025, the global halal meat industry is expected to touch 9.71 trillion dollars with a monopoly of Muslims over it.

As per the Food Standards Agency of United Kingdom, “51 percent of lamb, 31 percent of chicken, and 7 percent of beef slaughtered in Britain – from a total of 16 million animals per week – is now ‘religiously killed’, which is way more than total Muslim population of the country which is only 5 percent.”

The halal meat industry is ‘of the Muslims, by the Muslims but for everyone’. In countries around the world including the United States, the United Kingdom, and India, the tiny Muslim minority has forced the majority community to adhere to their practices and standards.

Previously, multinational fast-food chain McDonald’s was caught in a fix after the company had declared that they only serve Islamic Halal-certified foods in India. This declaration coming from the food chain had unsettled consumers from several communities who either had reservations against the painful and inherently exclusionist Halal technique or had other religious compulsions.

The Muslim community has already monopolized the non-vegetarian food industry and forced the lower caste and lower class of Hindus to go unemployed. Now, even vegetarian food units are being asked to get Halal certification if they want a smooth run without a boycott from Muslims, despite the fact that all vegetarian food is pure as per the Quran. In a country where the majority of the consumers are non-Muslims, Halal food is being forced down their throat, thanks to cartelization, fundamentalism, and unity of Muslims.

BCCI is assisting the Muslim community:

Bodies like the BCCI are assisting the Muslim community in monopolizing the non-veg food market by supporting the religious concept of Halal. Food chains like McDonald’s, KFC, Nando’s, Pizza Express, and Subway are already advertising that their Food products are halal.

Instead of falling for political correctness and assisting the Muslim community in monopolizing the meat market, BCCI should get its act together and improve performance on the field. For the last few months, BCCI and Indian cricket team players have been in news more for off-field activities than on-field performances.
