What is Beach Please Program?
Beach Please is a Mumbai-based youth effort to safeguard our oceans from marine waste. It is critical to maintain the cleanliness of our beaches. Beaches are home to a variety of animals, but we are turning them into dumping grounds, contaminated land with chemical or human waste. Marine life, which lives solely in the ocean, is harmed by trash on beaches. This has negative consequences for marine life.
Beach Please, is an organization which organizes clean-up activities on two of Mumbai’s beaches on a regular basis:
Chaitya Bhumi, Dadar Beach, every Saturday Mahim Creek, Mithi River
