‘Aryan can do drugs, can have sex,’ Shah Rukh Khan’s 24-year-old video explains Aryan’s current plight

Shah Rukh Khan, Aryan Khan, Bollywood, NCB, drugs

There is an old proverb in Hindi -पूत के पाँव पलने में नज़र आते है (The footsteps of a child are good enough to predict his/her future pathway). But, Shah Rukh Khan is the one who does not seem to observe his child’s footsteps rather guide him towards the dark. As soon as Narcotics Control Bureau(NCB) confirmed that Aryan Khan is being probed in Mumbai’s cruise drugs case, a 24-year-old video of Shah Rukh Khan is making rounds on the internet.

Shah Rukh’s old video goes viral

In a 1997 video, Shah Rukh Khan is seen being interviewed by Simi Garewal, for her show ‘Rendezvous with Simi Garewal’. In the interview, Shah Rukh proudly boasts that how he will spoil his son Aryan once he grows a little older. On being asked, about raising Aryan, Shah Rukh said-“I have just told him that he can run after girls. Smoke as much as he wants. He can do drugs, can have sex. He can womanize.” He then went on talking about the importance of freedom and told the Simi that his son will have the freedom to start as early as he can and do whatever he wants. He then adds that his son should be able to do all of those things, which he could not do in his time. Gauri Khan, who was sitting beside him in the interview, was seen laughing at her husband’s statements.

Although it seems that the statement was made by Shah Rukh in a lighter vein, netizens, however, were quite discontent with Shah Rukh Khan’s his views on raising children. They especially slammed him for his views considering intimacy as ‘a leisure activity’.

Video lightly shows how grim is the reality of Drugs and sex culture in Bollywood

The video though sarcastic in nature sheds a light on how Bollywood is cultivating a culture of drugs, opioids, sex trafficking in the country. Bollywood is infamous for breaking the value system of Bharat and softly imposing a hippie culture through its content.

In the past, Shah Rukh Khan and his family have been allegedly involved in drug trafficking. Shah Rukh’s wife was reportedly held at Berlin airport for carrying Marijuana with her.

It is a well-known fact that drugs affect the proper functioning of our brain. What may start as a gateway to achieving short-term happiness can eventually lead to our increased dependency on drugs. Bollywood, however, wants to stay delusional about this grim reality.

On the second of October, 2021, Aryan Khan was apprehended by NCB in an illicit drug case. A total of 8 have been arrested by NCB, including 3 girls belonging to Delhi. Aryan has been arrested under Section 8C, 20B, 27 read with 35 of the NDPS Act and has been taken to JJ Hospital in Mumbai today for a medical check-up.

The NCB is doing a commendable job in exposing all of these Bollywood celebrities. Being public figures, these stars hold a lot of influence over the young generation of our country. While many can see through their reality, many get attracted to the glory of the show business and fall into the trap of drug and alcohol abuse. As the nation is awakening to the reality of these Bollywood stars, law enforcement agencies and media should play a proactive role in exposing all of them.
