This uncouth, disgusting and rabidly anti-Hindu troll is a Cambridge Professor and she must be fired

Priyamvada, Hindus, Cambridge University

India-born Priyamvada Gopal, a professor of English at Cambridge University and author of two books, is quite notorious for her anti-Hindu comments on social media. As a quintessential leftist, she continuously spews venom against Hindus and harbours a morbid hatred in her heart against India as well as the Hindus of the nation.

Priyamvada Gopal, on 31st of August, touching a new low, compared the Jallianwala Bagh Memorial to a ‘whale penis’. In a comment, after an individual said he did not approve of the aesthetics of the memorial, Priyamvada wrote, “Is that a whale penis?”

Is that a whale p**is?

— Priyamvada Gopal © (@PriyamvadaGopal) August 31, 2021

In her hatred towards India and the Narendra Modi government as well, she did not even spare the memorial of victims of a dark day in history where more than 1,000 people were killed and hundreds were wounded while protesting against the British Empire back in 1919.

Priyamvada Gopal: Anti-Hindu

However, it is not the first time Priyamvada had made derogatory comments on Hindus and Hinduism. Back in 2019, when the Citizenship Amendment Act was in the limelight, Priyamvada demanded the USA to block the naturalization of Hindus and “snatch their precious little H-1Bs”, referring to the H-1B Visas. She tweeted, “Really am at the point where I would like to invite Western countries to block naturalization for Hindus. Snatch their precious little H-1Bs. Sickos.” She said this as she shared a New York Times article that brazenly lies about India making naturalisation ‘harder’ for Muslims.

Priyamvada herself contradicts that Hinduphobia exists. She also claims that Hindus who highlight Hinduphobia are akin to White Supremacists.

The so-called professor, however, is clearly struggling to prove the link between Hindus and White Supremacists, which is obviously a laughable claim.

Digging deep into her tweets, it becomes quite obvious that Priyamvada has a problem with every Hindu who is successful in western countries. Earlier this year, she made Hinduphobic remarks against Priti Patel, the Home Secretary in the UK Government since 2019. She tweeted, “In Priti Patel you see the lethal intersection of vicious Hindus majoritarianism/ caste hierarchies and colonial racism, which loved wheeling out Asians to kick black people.”

Cambridge University should take action against Priyambada

Despite running propaganda to demean Hindus and their sentiments, Cambridge University where Priyambada is a professor of English is not held accountable. Why is it so? The University is supposed to take action against her for her intolerable remarks against a specific community and spew venom against India as well. Priyamvada, the author of books like Literary Radicalism in India: Gender, Nation and the Transition to Independence (2005) and The Indian Novel in English (2009), is supposed to perform her duty as a professor and not disregard any specific community. Cambridge University, on the other hand, should jump into the matter and take strict action against the professor for spreading malice against the Hindu community.

Lady with the forehead is a horrid piece of work.

But India does not stand up for itself in foreign countries.
Forgot hiring lobbyists, hire lawyers in western countries and make the lives of these
people and their employers miserable in every way possible…. Lawfare is the way to go

George Galloway is very good at this

Yes, I agree with Avtar Singh, the best way is to proceed legally and file Anti Religious, Anti Minority , racial and discrimination cases on these troll and go heavily on their employers since the US Universities have huge money so let them cough up heavy penalties for hiring these anti-Hindu Professors.
Even current and former University students can file harassment cases and sue them heavily for going through this discrimination in their universities. Govt of India must hire lawyers to help the students.
