Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday kickstarted his three-day visit to the United States, with the historic, first in-person Quad meeting forming the fulcrum of his visit. After meeting Vice President Kamala Harris, PM Modi finally met President Joe Biden for the first time since the democrat leader came to power in January, earlier this year.
However, experts around the world after seeing the images and videos of the meet have deduced that PM Modi is not really flattered by Biden in the White house. The bonhomie that he had forged with former President Donald Trump was nowhere to be seen.

PM Modi is known for dishing out affable hugs, generous handshakes, and forming personal bonds in quick time with any world leader. We saw it when he met Barack Obama, Vladimir Putin, Shinzo Abe and even Donald Trump. However, nothing of that sort happened when he met Biden.
Before PM Modi even entered the room, Biden seeing PM Modi trudging along the corridors, involuntary, as if like a gag reflex, raised his arms, preparing for the bear hug from the Indian leader.
However, PM Modi gently walked in with folded hands, doing his trademark namaste and for the first few seconds, leaving Biden red-faced. As the American President reluctantly tucked his outstretched arms and went for the handshake, PM Modi remained in his neutral, Namaste stance.
Although PM Modi did shake his hands afterward — it appeared like a routine handshake, not the one we have come to associate with him whilst meeting foreign dignitaries. Ask Prince Williams about it.
PM Modi’s firm handshake
After the meet, liberals around the country can be assured that events like Howdy Modi and Namaste Trump will not be occurring with Biden in the White House. PM Modi is expected to keep his relationship with Biden strictly professional and avoid his signature style of personal diplomacy.
Keeping the body language aside, PM Modi got down to serious business in no time and shared his vision for the India-US relationship in this coming decade.
Reportedly, PM Modi redefined the contours of India-US ties through five T’s — Tradition, Talent, Technology, Trade, Trusteeship. He highlighted how their bilateral relations are steeped in a rich tradition of working together.
Kamala Harris trying to impress PM Modi with Pakistan dialogue
There’s no getting around the fact that Democrats have been traditionally Pro-Pakistani but toeing a similar line against PM Modi, who is fast becoming a leader of the new world order, even overshadowing the US, could have had negative repercussions. Thus, to charm PM Modi, Kamala Harris, in her first meeting with him, immediately brought the big guns and cracked open the pandora box of Pakistan and terrorism.

According to a PTI report, during the meeting with PM Modi, Kamala ‘suo moto’ referred to Pakistan’s role in terrorism. Harris mentioned that terror groups were working in Pakistan and that she asked Islamabad to take action so that this matter does not threaten the security of India and the United States.
On Friday, PM Modi along with the member leaders of Quad from the US, Japan, and Australia engaged in a two-hour-long meeting at the White House with Beijing supposedly keeping close tabs on the developments.
