The photo was of Lara’s mother from the respective modeling days. The beautiful images were old snapshots of the actress’s mother from the beauty pageant era. Jennifer Dutta and LK Dutta have three daughters including Lara Dutta. Jennifer Dutta, married former Indian Air Force wing commander LK Dutta a year after her appearance in Miss India. Lara was born to the couple in 1978 in Ghaziabad, India. Lara completed her schooling from “The Frank Anthony Public School, Bengaluru and completed her degree in Economics from University of Mumbai. Lara gets her talent from her mother, who contested in a beauty pageant and was the first runner up.

When Lara won Miss universe 2000, her speech was about women being independent and having their own journey in any field they aspire, there is no doubt that she inherits this understanding and knowledge from her mother. In the honor presented to her as Miss Diva, while she was mentoring for miss Universe, Lara in her speech emotionally called out people who these days call the honors like Miss universe, Miss India, etc. as objectifying to women and said that these awards have only given the contestants and winners the respect they deserve and do not objectify any women.
