Attacking Afghan govt, justifying Taliban, celebrating and mocking India – ISI is having a field day

Afghan, Taliban, India,

As Taliban, the radical Islamic terrorist organization backed by Pakistan, managed to capture Afghanistan and forced President Ashraf Ghani to flee the country, Pakistan’s Inter-Services Intelligence agency (ISI) has begun running a propaganda to attack the Afghan government, hailing the Taliban’s takeover of Afghanistan and mocking India.

Pakistan, which seeks to legitimize the Taliban to carry out their sinister agendas in Afghanistan, is portraying the takeover as its victory. With the Talibani government ruling Afghanistan, Pakistan aims at controlling the province. Prior to the resurgence of Talibani terrorists, the Afghan civilian government led by Ashraf Ghani shared a friendly bond with India on the grounds of economy, safety, and security.

Despite the fact that the Taliban will be enforcing a strict interpretation of Sharia or Islamic law that will ultimately mark the beginning of a dark era for women as well as the minorities in the country, the establishment in Pakistan, as well as its supporters, are celebrating.

ISI is running a propaganda to attack the civil government of Afghanistan, portraying it as corrupt. The propaganda begins with accusing President Ashraf Ghani and proceeds further with blaming Vice President Amrullah Saleh on grounds of corruption.

Raoof Hasan, Special Assistant to Prime Minister of Pakistan, tweeted, “Afghanistan is presently witnessing a virtually smooth shifting of power from the corrupt Ghani government to the Taliban. According to some sources, this is being facilitated by the US and its associates. Virtually everything you claimed would happen has been blown away.”

Amrullah Saleh took to Twitter to oppose the oppression by the Taliban and tweeted, “In my soil. With d people. For a cause & purpose. With solid belief in righteousness. Opposing Pak bcked oppression & brutal dictatorship is our legitimacy.”

Refuting the claim and defending Pakistan, a Twitter user Imran tweeted, “Stop blaming Pakistan, how can a poor country like Pakistan support and sustain war in Afghanistan? A country barely surviving on IMF tranches, poor economy while ANA was flooded with billions of $ is last 20 years. The best equipment was provided by US, unwilling to Fight.”

Waslat Hasrat-Nazimi tweeted, “Apparently President Ashraf Ghani has left the country. Quite a blow to Afghan and Pashtun nationalists or “Babaists” who claimed he would rather become a martyr than resign.”

With these claims, the Pakistani propaganda is aiming to portray that the Afghan civilians are happy to have Taliban takeover from the democratically elected government. Moreover, with this propaganda, the Pakistani agency aims to justify the Talibani takeover of Afghanistan.

Celebrating the beginning of the black era in Afghanistan where women will once again be oppressed, Pakistan is mocking Afghanistan, which was on its way to achieving a well-functioning government.

Pakistan is running a very tight propaganda against India as well. Earlier this month, when Talibani terrorists seized the Salma Dam, also called Afghan-India Friendship Dam, which was funded and built by India in Herat Province, Pakistan spread a propaganda and spewed hatred towards India.  Pakistan claimed that India was running the infrastructure projects in Afghanistan to carry out the terror activities in Pakistan. Pakistan is trying to project India and Afghanistan in a negative light by portraying that India is anti-Muslim.

However, this is not the first time when Pakistan has tried to malign India. In February 2019, when India launched airstrikes against militants in Pakistani occupied territory of Balakot in a retaliation to the Pulwama Attack, Pakistan’s army spokesman Major General Asif Ghafoor said the strikes caused no casualties. He tweeted that Pakistani jets were scrambled and forced the Indian planes to make a “hasty withdrawal”, dropping their payload in an open area.

The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), which is assumed to be the media and public relations wing of the Pakistan Armed Forces, keeps running the propaganda to attack India and neighbouring countries. As of now, ISPR is running a propaganda to mock not only India but Afghans as well who are mourning the casualties all over the country.
