Sidhu, Gandhi Family’s spy in Amarinder’s Congress will hand Punjab over to the BJP

Sidhu, Punjab, BJP, Congress

Speculations came to an end after a month of turmoil, and Sidhu has been appointed as the Congress chief of Punjab to which Amarinder clearly showed his displeasure. Amarinder Singh and Navjot Sidhu have been a never-ending match for a while. This match deals with their never-ending contradiction to each other’s style of work and many other vital issues. Thus, during this chaotic period, the differences within the Congress party could lead to upliftment in BJP’s performance in the upcoming elections.

The Congress party has created two powers that have turned out to be in a tussle because of their differences. Sidhu, who is supposed to praise the work done under Amarinder’s government, has been its biggest critic. On the other hand, Amarinder Singh has never been happy with Sidhu entering into his administrative shell. As a result of this, in the upcoming elections, Congress is going to fall into second place, and in case the Akali performs well, the congress will have to settle with third place.

As reported by TFI, Captain Amarinder invoking the terrorism and national security angle is an obvious masterstroke to preserve power. But all his efforts have been rebuffed by the Gandhis by providing charge to Sidhu, a puppet to the Gandhi clan. Sidhu will be making his best possible efforts for the candidature for the post of Chief Minister.

It is evident that the age-old party is divided and Sidhu, who is definitely going to try his hands in the upcoming Punjab elections, will be running in the rat race in order to become the Chief Minister. This would lead to massive disruption among the voters, and they could choose to go with the options among Shiromani Akali Dal, AAP and the BJP.

While SAD and AAP, owing to their anarchic politics, have their targets set on the Khalistani vote bank currently protesting at the Delhi borders, the BJP is expected to cash in on Hindu as well as Dalit Sikhs votes.

As reported by TFI, there were instances when the bitterness was quite evident between the Captain and Sidhu.  Sidhu recently met Cooperation and Jails Minister Sukhjinder Randhawa and Technical Education, Tourism and Cultural Affairs Minister Charanjit Channi to plan out the further pathway to mount pressure on the chief minister of the state regarding the Bargari sacrilege case and the subsequent police firing cases of Kotkapura and to initiate a clampdown on the alleged drug mafia, the Punjab CM also has more weight on his side with a battery of pro-Amarinder Ministers hitting out at Sidhu with some within the Punjab Congress vociferously advocating for his expulsion.

In the upcoming Punjab elections, both Amarinder and Sidhu will be playing for their respective loyalists to have more tickets. Pro-Amarinder’s club would not vote for the Sidhu’s MLAs and vice versa. This will have disastrous consequences for the Congress party and will ultimately benefit the BJP, making them eat the cake cut by Congress.
