Former pacer Venkatesh Prasad whacks Mission Ambedkar for their Hinduphobic tweet about NASA intern

Former Indian cricketer Venkatesh Prasad might just be the next celebrity to be cancelled by the liberal elites after he gave an earful to a Twitter handle named Mission Ambedkar, which was mocking Pratima Roy — the NASA intern whose photo was posted by the premier space agency. Taking to Twitter, the pacer knocked apart the account which claims to spread the vision of Dr BR Ambedkar to the world.

“Mocking her for wearing her heart on her sleeves & being a devotee. On the other hand supporters putting Milk on Shivalinga, praying for recovery of Prakash Ambedkar’s health, who is the grandson of the great Dr Ambedkar. Babasaheb would have been ashamed of this handle using his name” tweeted Prasad whilst sharing a screenshot of a report published in TV9 Marathi, in which supporters of Prakash Ambedkar, the grandson of Dr Ambedkar, could be seen offering milk on a Shivalinga and praying for his recovery.

The Mission Ambedkar handle had quote tweeted the NASA tweet by saying: “After seeing this we said; Science ka naash kar diya NASA ne.”

As reported by TFI, while inviting applications for the internship, NASA had shared the photograph of Pratima Roy with murtis of Hindu deities on her table and the wall plastered with photographs of Hindu Gods and Goddesses. Meanwhile, a Shiva Linga could also be seen. A laptop was placed near the statue in which the NASA logo was visible.

However, no sooner did NASA put out the image, the ultra-seculars on the social media platforms started disparaging Pratima for showing her beliefs, with some even going to the lengths of asking NASA to cancel her internship.

Pratima is majoring in Computer Engineering Technology. She is learning about Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Biomimicry. While her sister, Pooja, has been doing a remote internship at the research centre since the beginning of 2020. She is working on a project that is related to NASA’s “Moon to Mars mission” and its Artemis program.

Not only her but there are examples of many top Indian scientists who are Hindu devotees such as K Sivan, the head of The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO).

Prasad — a nationalist proud of his roots

In the day and age of political correctness where practising and showing Hindu beliefs amounts to being communal according to the sacred, liberal secular handbook, Venkatesh Prasad is one of the few celebrities who doesn’t shy away from wearing his religion on the sleeve.

Before the World Test Championship Final between India and New Zealand, an Australian ‘journalist’ named CJ Werleman unnecessarily brought the Hindutva angle into the competition and used it to ridicule the Indians. Mind you, Werleman wasn’t only mocking those believing in the Hindutva philosophy but rather cleverly, he was showing his racist tendencies towards the Indians.

He tweeted, “I’m rooting for New Zealand in the ICC Test Championship Final because imagining 500 million Hindutva extremists being happy, even for a second, makes me miserable”.

However, Prasad wasn’t the one to take the jibe lying down and shut slam the reporter by tweeting, “Whoever wins is fine, but what a sad low and miserable life this man is. The fact that this man is given an opportunity to write in publications speaks poorly of the publications. Get well soon Mr Miserable”

On International Yoga Day, Venkatesh Prasad demonstrated the Surya Namaskar for his followers, performed in deference to the Sun God. Lately, Yoga has also become Sanghi for the liberals when its benefits are being reaped by people of all faiths and beliefs across the planet.

Last month, Prasad shared a beautiful rendition of the ‘Shri Ram Stuti’ on his Twitter handle which invited positive reviews from the netizens.

On the occasion of Mother’s Day, Venkatesh Prasad shared verses from the Skanda Purana to wish people on the day.

“नास्ति मातृसमा छाया नास्ति मातृसमा गतिः। नास्ति मातृसमं त्राणं नास्ति मातृसमा प्रपा॥ There is no shade like a mother, no resort-like a mother, no security like a mother, no other ever-giving fountain of life! Skanda Purana Mo. Ch. 6.103-104” he tweeted.

Prasad is the perfect, global citizen that champions modern and progressive beliefs but doesn’t disparage his roots and customs to elevate the modern thinking process. Something which the liberals are involuntarily programmed to do. The left-liberal philosophy is simple, the more you demean Hinduism, the more points you acquire to be called a woke, culturally-sensitive human.
