Days after being exposed for the devious Toolkit that was hatched to defame the Modi government and create an impediment in India’s war against the pandemic — Congress has activated its ecosystem to take on the BJP leaders. The party on Thursday wrote a letter to Twitter asking it to permanently suspend the accounts of BJP leaders including party chief JP Nadda and Union minister Smriti Irani and spokesman Sambit Patra for allegedly “spreading misinformation and unrest in the society”.

Rohan Dua, Chairman of Congress’s Social Media Team or IT Cell took to Twitter to share the letter where Congress lodged its complaint against BJP.

The letter read, “We would like to draw your urgent attention towards the gross misuse of the Twitter platform by the senior functionaries of the ruling party ie. the Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP), which has led to large-scale dissemination of false information and has the potential to cause social unrest in the country, amidst the current pandemic.”

And like clockwork accuracy, Twitter being a stooge of the left-liberal cabal flagged a tweet of Sambit Patra as manipulated media on Friday. In the tweet, Patra had merely accused the Congress party of carrying out PR exercise with the help of “Friendly Journalists” and “Influencers”.

Patra posted, “Friends look at the #CongressToolKit in extending help to the needy during the Pandemic! More of a PR exercise with the help of “Friendly Journalists” & “Influencers” than a soulful endeavour.”

The Jack Dorsey owned platform that claims to uphold the virtues of free speech and liberty gave in to the demands of Congress within a day. Despite glaring evidence present in the public domain pointing to Congress’s heavy involvement in the publication of Toolkit, Twitter flagged Sambit’s tweet for showing the reality. If this does not show the obvious and inherent bias of the microblogging platform, then it is difficult to comprehend what else does.

Moreover, to hush out BJP for speaking against the toolkit, the party, before writing the letter to Twitter, had lodged a police complaint against BJP president J.P. Nadda, Union minister Smriti Irani, BL Santosh and others.

As reported by TFI, after being surrounded by all sides, Congress had employed the services of its employee, the so-called fact-checker website AltNews to remove the dirty stains of the Toolkit. However, in a hurry to placate Congress, the propaganda website ended up doing an untidy clean-up work and in the process exposed its allegiances once again.

From using selective tweets and later editing those to using the changed fonts and indentations as an argument to claim that toolkit was forged by BJP — AltNews, even by its own atrocious low standards, outdid itself.

As reported by TFI, earlier this week, Congress had been caught with its pants down trying to spread misinformation against the Modi government at a time when the country is only beginning to get some respite from the second Covid-19 wave.

In the toolkit, the Congress party, under the hegemonic control of the Gandhis, has been caught making it amply clear that priority must be given to VIPs, journalists, media professionals and influencers by the INC when they ask for Covid-19 related assistance.

While Congress has started to use every other weapon in its arsenal to counter BJP, the ruling party is yet to get out of the social media echo chambers and take a tough stance against the party for attempting to create unrest in the country.
