Tushti oximeter. Does the name ring a bell? Have you bought oximeters from this company, which claims the devices are ‘Made in India’? Well, if the oximeters worked for you, you are just very lucky, because a vast majority of people buying oximeters of the ‘Tushti’ brand with flashy images of brand ambassador Sonu Sood on them are complaining that the devices simply do not work. According to a Twitter user, an oximeter which cost him Rs. 2,000 simply refused to work. The buyer also complained the Tushti’s customer service was not replying to his messages seeking a refund.
Taking to Twitter, a buyer of the oximeter – Rohit Parmar said, “Sonu Sood sir, please help. I bought the Tushti brand oximeter whose box has your picture on it. But the quality of the product is absolutely cheap and the device is faulty. I have emailed (Tushti) many times, but am receiving no reply. These guys are looting people. Rs. 2,000 of mine drowned buying this.”

On its website, Tushti claims, “Tushti can be your trusted partner in building hardiness to face such health challenges. Our Made in India, FDA Certified, Pulse Oximeters and Infrared Thermometers are products of our genuine concern for society and its wellbeing. We seek your support in inculcating a consistent habit of self-health monitoring to make India a stronger, healthier and resilient Nation.”
In fact, Rohit Parmar is not the only buyer of the oximeter whose device is not working and is faulty. Many others took to Twitter to complain about the cheap product which does not function properly.

Hi !!
Just wanted to share review of the brand Tushti with your pic used for branding.
The product-oximeter is of poor quality.
Other products would be same poor quality.
Seeing your pic misguides people and they end up buying product of poor quality.— Dr. Jitendra R Kheraliya (@jitnis) May 22, 2021

Sonu Sood had joined Tushti as the company’s brand ambassador in September last year. Back then, the actor had said, “I am proud to join hands with Tushti India to launch 100% made in India Oximeter and Infrared Thermometer to keep ourselves, our families and the nation safe.”

At a time when the nation is going through a covid crisis, for Tushti India to provide buyers with faulty devices which simply refuse to work is no less than a blatant scam. Sonu Sood, who has been projecting himself as the messiah of Indians since last year also needs to be asked why his pictures continue to be flashed on the packages of Tushti oximeters which are cheap in quality and faulty in nature. Tushti is looting ordinary Indians and supplying them the products that do not work, while Sonu Sood continues to endorse them.
