To save itself from sheer embarrassment, Congress drops its case against BJP in Delhi, runs to Chhattisgarh

In what can be read as the first admission of guilt, Antonio Maino led Indian National Congress which had filed a complaint with the Delhi Police regarding the toolkit controversy, has now withdrawn the complaint and instead has chosen to pursue the matter in Congress-ruled Chhattisgarh. This effectively means that Antonio Maino and her minions will be the judge, jury and executioner in this case.

Just when things were looking ominous for the Modi government, the Indian National Congress shot itself in the foot as its toolkit got leaked in the public domain. While there’s nothing wrong with hatching a strategy to corner the government over various issues, however, the toolkit was filled with hatred towards the state of Gujarat with the ultimate goal of badmouthing India on global platforms through the usage of ‘Indian strain’.

Initially, the party deployed its elaborate ecosystem, with a so-called fact-checker who possesses the rare ability to turn stones into wallets, giving a clean chit to the grand old party by claiming that the toolkit was fake. Perhaps, the party realised that it was not going to be enough and hence, also chose to simultaneously pursue the case with the Delhi Police. Now, with the Delhi Police cracking down on Twitter, the INC has chosen to run away to the safe haven of Chhattisgarh, where it will conduct the investigation and proclaim itself as innocent.

Chhattisgarh CM Bhupesh Baghel, who was busy with replacing PM Modi’s photograph on vaccination certificates with his own photograph, has now a new task on his hand. The Gandhi family loyalist had already sent constables to question former Chhattisgarh CM Raman Singh over his tweet on the Congress toolkit. It will not be far-fetched to say that Baghel will leave no stone unturned to ensure that the investigation not only gives a clean chit to Congress but also hound state BJP leaders who commented on the controversy.

For the uninitiated, in the toolkit, the Indian National Congress, under the hegemonic control of the Maino-Gandhi family, has been caught making it amply clear that priority must be given to VIPs, journalists, media professionals and influencers by the IYC when they ask for Covid-19 related assistance. This particular document has caught social media by storm and has exposed Congress for the party of demented demons that it is. Since the Congress’ shamelessness knows no bounds, it has also directed its workers and volunteers to respond to SOS message from common citizens only if they tag the Indian Youth Congress handle.

One would have thought that as a national party, Congress would not go outrageously anti-national in its politics. However, that is precisely what seems to have happened. In an open attempt to defame India, perhaps at the behest of China, the Congress party in its toolkit directed workers to, “Use the phrase ‘Indian strain’ whenever talking about the new mutant. Social media volunteers may call it ‘Modi strain’.”
