As the family of Love Jihad victim, Nikita Tomar continues to struggle for the capital punishment of her murderers, the cases of Love Jihad have now started rising rapidly in Haryana. In a concerning development, three youngsters named Hamza, Parvez and Shahid have been arrested as the trio threatened a minor girl of meeting the same fate as that of Nikita Tomar.
The trio after albeit failingly trying to abduct a minor girl in Tauru, Haryana resorted to publicly molesting the minor girl. In fact, after the girl protested against the three youth, they allegedly beat her up and threatened to kill her. With the help of the locals, the minor was able to escape from the clutches of Hamza, Parvez and Shahid, with the trio subsequently being nabbed and handed over to the police.
The victim while narrating the chain of events stated that while heading for her tuition classes in the evening, two youth chased her and subsequently started molesting her. Upon seeing the victim resist and protest, they resorted to beating her up, where one of the youth, threatened the minor that if she does not change her religion and marry him, he will repeat what happened to Nikita Tomar.
After failing to get the minor come with them, the youth then called his friends to get the minor forcefully on the bike and had they succeeded, the minor would have been likely converted to Islam and married off to one of her attackers.
While some of her attackers were able to escape, thanks to the timely intervention of the locals who rushed to the spot after hearing her screams, they nabbed the troika of Hamza, Parvez and Shahid. The family of the victim has also claimed that that Hamza’s family has indulged in illegal activities.
Last year in Haryana’s Faridabad, one Tauseef alias Sajid alias Rahul shot a 21-year-old Hindu girl named Nikita Tomar who refused to convert to Islam. In a shocking video which had went viral, the accused can be seen shooting her at point-blank range outside Aggarwal College where the victim had gone to appear for an exam on Monday. On October 25, the victim had lodged an FIR against one of the assailants – Tauseef, on charges of harassment and his forceful attempts at trying to convert her to Islam and then marrying her. Post the FIR, the prime accused, Tauseef, who masqueraded as a Hindu boy named Rahul before the victim during a large period of their acquaintance, accompanied with an associate first tried to kidnap Nikita, and upon facing resistance, shot her dead in broad daylight.
Such cases have started increasing rapidly in Haryana with a section, perhaps, emboldened by the fact that the murderers of Nikita Tomar did not receive capital punishment, have started to wreck havoc in the state. The state administration must pull up its socks to ensure that no women has to face the gruesome fate of India’s daughter Nikita Tomar.
