Prashant Bhushan is trying to engineer a health disaster in India with his tweets against masks

Prashant Bhushan, COVID-19, Modi government,

A tweet by Prashant Bhushan, the PILjivi of the country, has been removed by Twitter because he asked the people to not wear masks because they are not effective. “The data suggest that facemasks are ineffective to block transmission of viral and infectious disease such as COVID-19. Wearing facemasks has been demonstrated to have substantial adverse physiological and psychological effects,” tweeted Bhushan, urging them to “read this detailed study on masks”.

Twitter did its job by removing the content posted by Prashant Bhushan but the Indian government did not. Bhushan is a public enemy because he is openly asking people to defy the government’s orders and also telling them that if they follow the government’s orders, it will have adverse physiological and psychological effects.

Bhushan can be booked under many sections of the Indian Penal Code including for instigation of chaos. Thousands of scientific studies have proved that masks are effective in controlling the Coronavirus and doctors around the world have recommended people to wear masks. Moreover, even if masks are not that effective, then, as the popular saying goes – “Precaution is better than cure”.

Bhushan needs to be thrown behind the bars as soon as possible because his freedom of speech, as well as physical freedom, is dangerous for the rest of the citizens of the country.

Bhushan sounded so stupid that even Kavita Krishnan, the Communist leader who often collaborates and agrees with him on most of the issues, tweeted a long thread against his tweet.

“I’ve had close (otherwise healthy) friends fall prey to Covid 19 & escape narrowly after a brush with death. Have spent a night thinking they’re gone. One still struggling to survive after 6 months. Peddling anti mask, anti vaxx propaganda is the height of irresponsibility,” said Krishnan.

Bhushan, who was seen as an anti-corruption crusader during the Anna movement, has fallen from grace in the eyes of the public in the last few years. Be it shielding the illegal Rohingyas, or applying for the mercy of the then death row convict Yakub Memon, or even making a mountain of a molehill on Rafale deal, Prashant Bhushan has done it all that qualifies him as an anti-national and anarchist.

People like Prashant Bhushan, the members of so-called civil society, often pressurise the government officials through RTI applications. Such activists have been found to be blackmailing the government officials through the RTI, and therefore, for many miscreants, RTI litigation has become a full-time job, which seems to be their bread and butter without any hard work.

Prashant Bhushan wants to create public unrest in the society and wants the Coronavirus to spread across the country so that he can take on the Modi government and make efforts to take it down. Lawyers like Prashant Bhushan thrive on the misery of the people and always argue for decisions that are against the welfare of the majority.

The anarchy-loving people like Bhushan thrive in chaos and want the society to remain unstable forever. Their contempt for the government of the day, irrespective of the party, makes them dangerous for a just and harmonious society and their place is behind the bars.
