Biden was reluctant to supply vaccine raw material to India. Doval picked up the phone and Biden immediately agreed

This is new India. We don’t only beat lions in their own caves, but also achieve what is our right, without any fear or pressure. The current American administration got a lesson for life after messing with India the wrong way and now they are compelled to assist India in every way possible, from giving raw materials necessary for vaccine production to other medical equipment necessary to fight the deadly second wave of Wuhan virus, for which our own National Security Adviser Ajit Doval deserves an equal share of applause.

White House has officially stated that America would assist India in recovering from the perils of the Wuhan virus in every possible. To quote their official statement, “The United States has identified sources of specific raw material urgently required for Indian manufacture of the Covishield vaccine that will immediately be made available for India. To help treat COVID 19 patients and protect front health workers in India, the United States has identified supplies of therapeutics, rapid diagnostic test kits, ventilators and Personal Protective Equipment that will immediately be made available for India.”

Following the announcement, all officials in the American administration from President Joe Biden to National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan reaffirmed their commitment towards assisting India against the Wuhan virus. However, how did this sudden change come? How did America, which was not ready to spend even a dime on India, is now extremely enthusiastic to help its citizens out? Well, the reason behind this is simple. Once again India’s diplomatic prowess has been proven, all thanks to the efforts of our incumbent National Security Adviser, Ajit Doval.

A few days ago, America had made it clear that its supplies won’t be diverted to other nations unless their citizens were treated first. In other words, America had sent a message to India – ‘Accept our conditions or you won’t get a dime of our services, especially the raw materials and salts needed for vaccine production.’

However, the move gloriously backfired. Indians, Indian Americans, everyone lambasted the Biden administration for their high handedness and coerced them to think again. Apart from that, India was clear – No need for America’s assistance if they are not willing to give it. Finding things going out of hand, American NSA Jake Sullivan decided to have a word with Ajit Doval, following which things changed for the better.

To quote Jake’s tweet, “Spoke today with National Security Advisor Ajit Doval about the spike in COVID cases in India and we agreed to stay in close touch in the coming days. The United States stands in solidarity with the people of India and we are deploying more supplies and resources.”

Even US Joe Biden chipped in with his promise to assist India in need. He tweeted, “Just as India sent assistance to the United States as our hospitals were strained early in the pandemic, we are determined to help India in its time of need.”

It would not be wrong to say that India has increased its international stature in the last few years by leaps and bounds. Under no situation is the new India going to bow or beg before anyone. We will fight for what is right and we shall win, as we did in the case of America.
