Not a day goes by without the leaders of the so-called ‘farmers’ protests’ exposing themselves. As the crowd continues to thin at the Singhu border, the epicentre of the protests, Rakesh Tikait and co have now been exposed by a daring girl who posed some tough questions to Tikait during the Dhansa Highway protest which later prompted him to snatch the mic from the girl in order to save himself from major embarrassment.
In a viral video, farm leader Rakesh Tikait and his colleagues who were addressing a rally in Haryana quickly snatched the mic from a girl who asked him who was responsible for the Republic Day violence. The girl who is reportedly a student activist confronted Tikait on Friday at the Dhansa protest site and posed some uncomfortable questions.
Apart from questioning who was responsible for the Republic Day violence, the girl questioned Rakesh Tikait about the future course of the farmers’ protests wondered what can be an agreeable solution to the protests.
In the video, the girl can be seen as saying, “I want Rakesh Tikait to give an expected solution that is going to come out of the protests. A solution to these protests should be found so that both the youth and the farmers are not harmed. Can you please tell me what the agreeable solution to the issue is? You have said that the movement will not end until the government agrees to your demands. I want to ask what happens if both the government and the farmers do not agree to discuss it. What will be the solution? Everyone needs this answer.”
She added, “I do not know who is responsible for the violence, but such violence will affect our society.”
In a desperate bid to avoid further embarrassment, the farm leaders including Tikait present on the stage snatched the mic from the girl to prevent her from speaking.
Recently, Tikait’s apparent riches came to the fore which further exposed him. According to the news reports, Rakesh Tikait’s assets are worth as much as Rs 80 crores. Tikait’s assets are spread across four states in the country viz. Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Delhi, and Maharashtra. Furthermore, these assets traverse 13 cities of the country, including Muzaffarnagar, Lalitpur, Jhansi, Lakhimpur Kheri, Bijnor, Badaun, Delhi, Noida, Ghaziabad, Dehradun, Roorkee, Haridwar, and Mumbai.
