As Ayodhya returns to its former glory, CM Yogi launches Global Encyclopedia of Ramayana

On Saturday, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath launched a global Encyclopedia of Ramayana. The encyclopedia was launched in an e-book format and has been prepared by the Ayodhya Research Institute. Last year, the state government had appointed a data collection team for the same.

Chief Minister Yogi said that the Ramayan and the other epic Mahabharata give the best lessons of life and help us dream for a better India. The launch of the encyclopedia on Ramayana comes at a time when the construction of the much-awaited mega Ram Mandir, worth Rs 1,100 crores is at its full pace along with the fund collection drive.

Extensively reported by TFI, in the Encyclopedia of the Ramayana, the Yogi government will record every tiny detail about Lord Ram from every possible source of the world. The idols, temples, scriptures, works of literature, painting, and even the ideology of Lord Rama will be included in the encyclopedia.

While launching the Global Encyclopedia of Ramayana, Yogi said that the historical facts cannot be suppressed and some people raise questions on the presence of Lord Ram in Ayodhya. For him, the construction of the grand Ram temple at Ayodhya makes this launch of the Global Encyclopedia of Ramayana more special.

In his statement, he said, “This encyclopedia will motivate us to visit Ayodhya as it will introduce everyone to the untouched aspects of science and spirituality.”

CM Yogi further articulated, “ There are Sapta Puri, seven holy cities, which are considered as the holiest Hindu pilgrimage sites. Out of these, Ayodhya, Mathura, and Kashi are in Uttar Pradesh. It is a matter of pride for us that a workshop has been organized by the Department of Culture, in collaboration with the Ministry of External Affairs.”

He added that conservatism and the compressed mentality of some sections of the society destitute the country of its justifiable pride in history.

CM Yogi also gave a stern warning to people who are spreading anti-India and anti-Hindu sentiments and said, “People who are bamboozling the public for their advantage and deceiving the country will not be spared. People who are creating false propaganda about India for money will face the heat.”

In August 2020, the Yogi government set up ‘Group of Ramayana’ countries for the projection of India’s soft power globally. In that very event, the project of the Encyclopedia of Ramayana was also mooted.

According to the reports by the UP government, the United States of America has more than 1200 Lord Ram temples, and many countries in Southeast Asia have many temples and footprints of Lord Ram and Ramayana.

CM Yogi also encouraged people to not let go of the mellifluous spirit of the nation by getting involved in small communal disputes. The launch of the Encyclopedia of Ramayana will not only help people learn about unknown scientific and spiritual facts about the epic but will also be a big jolt to distorians and people who are trying to ignite anti-Hindu sentiments among the masses.
