Since Friday, CCP has gone on an overdrive to publish details of the bloody Galwan valley clash which took place between the brave Indian Army soldiers and Chinese PLA wimps. During the clashes, India’s ferocious soldiers inflicted heavy causalities upon the PLA. While 20 of our soldiers and officers were killed in the action, an estimated double number of Chinese soldiers were kicked into the gallows of death for initiating a Guerrilla-styled attack against the Indian Army’s patrol party. On Friday, China’s Central Military Commission (CMC) made news after it ‘honoured’ five of its soldiers – four killed in action and one grievously wounded while attacking the Indian Army.
Then, videos of the Galwan valley clash were outed by China, in which the ferociousness of Indian Army soldiers was laid bare for all to witness. The highly edited video clips have ended up doing more harm than good for China, which is why the CCP has now gone into damage control mode and is arresting those who shared the clips, under the pretext of them being ‘fake’ and ‘demeaning’ towards the PLA ‘martyrs’. Fake, they most definitely were, as contrary to Chinese claims, the PLA was seen being fought back with unprecedented strength by the Indian Army.

On another note, must thank the Chinese for showing us images of the Indian braves in Galwan! The video released by China yesterday captures & confirms how fearlessly the Indian men evicted the intruding Chinese. Pixellated faces of utter valour. 🇮🇳 pic.twitter.com/5sBA3r5Mhw

In fact, the CCP started behaving like a headless chicken after its Friday tamasha, which extended up till Saturday. Soon after the CMC released botched up and fake figures of Chinese fatalities and casualties in Galwan, citizens took to questioning the veracity of such claims and honours, in which China had horrifyingly ignored the deaths of over 40 other PLA soldiers who were killed by the Indian forces. To quell such criticism and also to deflect the attention of its domestic audience, China leaked videos of the clash. Here too, the bravery of Indian army soldiers was seen, apart from the PLA troops being thrashed, despite the clips being heavily edited.
In frustration, China’s weekend tamasha culminated with the CCP doing what it does best – arresting people for criticising it. According to Chinese state-affiliated English publication Global Times, a Weibo user surnamed Qiu and known online as Labixiaoqiu was arrested “for smearing PLA martyrs killed in the Galwan Valley border clash with India”. Qiu’s Weibo account of over 2.5 million followers has also been suspended.
Meanwhile, China’s weekend misinformation campaign also threatened to have wide-ranging geopolitical and diplomatic consequences. Soon after fake details and videos were released by China, its citizens took to abusing and threatening the Indian Embassy in Beijing. The CCP soon feared an attack on sovereign Indian soil in Beijing, which is why it proactively started acting against those sharing videos of the bloody clash.
All in all, it has been a disastrous weekend for the CCP, as they took to making a suo-moto clown out of themselves, while also dismissing and brazenly ignoring the ‘martyrdom’ of over 40 PLA troopers killed in Galwan.
