Khalistan supporter Khalsa Aid is nominated for Nobel Peace Prize. This is not fake news

Khalsa Aid, Nobel Prize

Khalistan-supportive and UK-based “non-profit organisation” Khalsa Aid International has been nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize by at least three Canadian legislators of the country’s parliament and provincial parliament, including the mayor of Brampton. The nomination of Khalsa Aid International comes in the backdrop of it actively aiding anti-government agitations in India. The organisation has also been making available a variety of luxuries for the protesting farmers at the borders of Delhi. The nomination for the supposedly coveted Nobel Peace Prize has come as another testament to the futility and uselessness of such awards, not to mention their depleting stature.

Khalsa Aid International has been nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize by Canadian MP Tim Uppal, Mayor of Brampton Patrick Brown, and the MPP for Brampton South, Prabmeet Singh Sarkaria. In the nomination letter addressed to the Norwegian Nobel Committee chairperson Berit Reiss-Andersen, the trio wrote, “Khalsa Aid is an international NGO with the aim to provide humanitarian aid in disaster areas and civil conflict zones around the world…Khalsa Aid became the first-ever cross-border international humanitarian aid organization based on the Sikh principle of ‘recognizing the whole human race as one’.”

“Founded by Ravinder (Ravi) Singh, who was struck by the plight of the refugees in Kosovo in 1999, the charity has been providing support around the world to victims of natural and man-made disasters such as floods, earthquakes, famine, and war for over 20 years. They have been able to provide crucial aid to millions of people around the world,” the nomination letter added. But here’s the real deal. As exposed by TFI, Khalsa Aid International is not all that big of a Good Samaritan as many think it to be.

In fact, Khalsa Aid is reportedly a front organisation of the terror organisation Babbar Khalsa International and has been involved in funnelling money into India for BKI operatives both on the loose and in jails, apart from also providing for their families. The NIA also found that Babbar Khalsa and its front organisation – Khalsa Aid among others were actively being supported by Pakistan. We had also revealed how the shady organisation was, in fact, on the premise of collecting funds and donations for humanitarian work across the world, forwarding only a minuscule portion of the collections towards actually helping those in need.

The rest of the funds are allegedly usurped by the organisation’s founder and CEO – Ravi Singh. And then, the organisation is also known for working in war-torn Syria. However, Khalsa Aid itself admitted that it has no operations in Syria. To add to its feathers, the NIA has summoned the organisation’s India director Amanpreet Singh and other trustees and asked them to depose before the agency.

Does the revelation of such startling facts merit a Nobel Peace Prize for the organisation? Well, that is for the Norwegian Nobel Committee to decide. Needless to say, the committee, in any case, has been working overtime for the past few years to make a joke out of the Nobel prizes.
