Shoaib Akhtar was just a job seeker like Akram. Now that a job in India doesn’t look likely, he exposes his true side

Pakistani cricket has witnessed an irreversible downfall in the last few years and the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), as well as most of the Pakistani cricket players, are now impoverished. The Pakistani cricket team is treated in an inhospitable manner in most of the countries they tour because matches from Pakistan bring very little revenue to the cricket boards of both countries. But, the Pakistani cricketers like Shoaib Akhtar always have a chance to market their skills in India, where even nondescript players earn millions.

Therefore, in the last few years, many Pakistani players including Wasim Akram, Shahid Afridi, and Shoaib Akhtar have tried to market themselves in India and even succeeded to an extent before the Indian government imposed restrictions on them. However, even after facing restrictions, Pakistani players like Shoaib Akhtar and Shahid Afridi tried to win over the Indian audiences by talking about discrimination against Danish Kaneria- one of few Hindu players from Pakistan- and holding the Indian flag.

These publicity stunts seek to draw more and more audiences to their YouTube channels so that these can be monetized and used to earn a lot of money from India. Shoaib Akhtar owns a YouTube channel with more than 23 lakh subscribers, many of whom are Indians. Similarly, Shahid Afridi runs a YouTube channel with more than 8 lakh subscribers, the majority of whom are Indians.

Given the fact that ad rates and revenue, are significantly higher from India compared to Pakistan, these cricketers sometimes talk good about Hindus and India to appease Indian audiences. However, deep down the heart, these players are Islamists who want to establish “Ghazwa-e-Hind” (Islamic rule in India).

A recent interview of Shoaib Akhtar, in which he says, “Ghazwa-e-Hind is mentioned in our sacred books. We will first capture Kashmir and then invade India from all sides for Ghazwa-e-Hind,” reveals the true ideology of the Pakistani cricketer who earns millions from Indian audiences through his YouTube channel.

Previously Shoaib Akhtar spoke of the discrimination faced by Danish Kaneria in the Pakistani Cricket Team just because he is a Hindu. He said, “I had a fight with two or three players. I said that even if someone is a Hindu, he will play. And that same Hindu won us the test series… some people asked the reason why he (Danish) is having meals with us. I told all of them that I am going to pick you up from right here and throw you away. You would be a captain but on your own property. He is providing 6-6 wickets. In England, it had been Danish and Shami who had won the game for people.”

Shoaib Akhtar wanted to appease the Indian government and Indian audience through talks about discrimination against Danish Kaneria because it would have earned him the endorsement of Indian brands and entry into India to expand business like cricket franchise.

However, given the fact that the Indian government has not given him entry into the soil and brands have distanced themselves from Pakistani cricketers as the relations between the two countries are at an all-time low, Akhtar has revealed his true colours of an Islamist who dreams of Ghazwa-e-Hind.

Previously Afridi also revealed his true ideology by raking up the Kashmir issue that the Pakistan government and its citizens have unsuccessfully tried raking up ever since Pakistan came into existence. The Pakistani cricketer has now posted a tweet alleging that the situation in Kashmir is appalling and worrisome. He even begged the United Nations to stop India from fighting the terrorism manufactured on the Pakistani soil and sent across the border by Pakistan.

Cricketers like Wasim Akram- who got many endorsements in India including that of liquor and was fined by a Pakistani court for endorsing liquor, Shahid Afridi and Shoaib Akhtar live on Indian charity because Pakistani audiences have no money, and for that, sometimes they say some good things about India and Hindus.

But make no mistake, nobody in Pakistan wants to make peace with India. Pakistan has no cultural identity; the basis of Pakistan’s existence is hatred towards India and Hindus. However, a dominant section of Pakistani professionals like Shoaib Akhtar and Shahid Afridi is cunning and manipulative. They are such bigots who remain mum as long as they can live off India’s charity but show their true colours in a situation of crisis.
