Madhya Pradesh CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan has sought to deal with anti-social elements in the state with a very firm hand. In an attempt to curb any illegal activities to make the state safer for the people, Chouhan is all set to prepare a living hell for the mafia in Madhya Pradesh.

Speaking on Good Governance Day and warning mafia and others involved in illegal activities, the CM said, “I am in a dangerous mood nowadays. I will not spare those who are involved in illegal activities. Mama is in the form now. Leave, Madhya Pradesh, otherwise, I will bury you 10 feet deep and no one will know about your whereabouts.”

He further said, “Good governance, which means a regime where people don’t face any trouble, is prevailing in MP now.”

This statement by MP CM shows a deep emphasis that BJP is paying on rooting out all forms of violence from the state. Walking the talk, earlier this month, Shivraj Singh Chouhan had called an emergency meeting to curb narcotics’ prevalence in the state and put a stop to the drug mafia.

Unleashing ‘Operation Thunderbolt’, Chouhan had said, “In all of Madhya Pradesh, a crackdown is underway to uproot the drugs mafia. Our government is softer than flowers for law-abiding citizens and deadlier than a thunderbolt for those who are evil. Drug peddlers, land mafia, chit fund mafia, goons and other such people will not be spared.”

He also said, “Those who trade in drugs and narcotics are enemies of humanity. They should not be spared under any circumstances. Strict action should be taken against the drug mafia in the state. For this, a special campaign should be launched to attack their roots.”

Adopting an empathetic approach to the victims, CM had also said that a sympathetic attitude should be adopted towards child addicts and efforts must be made to help them get rid of addiction with love.

This is indeed a very proactive approach by Chouhan to effectively deal with violence and anti-social elements in the state.

This isn’t the first time that the Madhya Pradesh Government has shown a firm hand while dealing with the mafia. In October this year, drugs worth Rs 6 crore were seized in Madhya Pradesh and 7 people were arrested for allegedly smuggling 117 kg of hashish in the international market, from Nepal.
