As India and the UK get closer, the London mayor is using Khalistanis to sour the relationship and this is a test for Boris

In the last few years, especially after Boris Johnson came to power, the relationship between India and the United Kingdom has really improved. Also, the British Prime Minister is set to visit India next month on the occasion of the annual Republic Day celebrations.

However, the fact that the two nations are getting along, isn’t evidently aligning well with the Labour Party of the United Kingdom. Sadiq Khan, the Mayor of London and a senior leader of the Labour Party is allowing the Sikhs to hold protests in front of Indian High Commission, in order to ensure that the relations between the two countries do not reach their intended heights.

The supporters of the Khalistan movement in the United Kingdom are protesting in front of Indian High Commission to support farmer’s protest on Delhi-Haryana border which has been taken over by Khalistani elements. And all this is happening under the watch of the India-hating Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan.

This is not the first time that Sadiq Khan is not only allowing anti-India protests in the city but also instigating them. Previously, in August 2018, Sadiq Khan allowed pro-Khalistan anti-India elements to hold a rally in the city.

It has thus become a challenge for Boris Johnson, who is coming to India next month, to ensure that the bilateral relations do not worsen due to the stupidity of Sadiq Khan. Boris Johnson must condemn Sadiq Khan’s administration for allowing Khalistani elements to protest in front of the Indian High Commission in London.

The Labour party is hell-bent to worsen the relations between the two countries. 36 Labour MPs including former Prime Ministerial candidate Jeremy Corbyn have written a letter to the Foreign Secretary Dominic Raab and have asked him to talk about the ongoing farmers’ protest to his Indian counterpart.

The letter says that “Many British Sikhs and Punjabis have taken this matter up with their MPs, as they (are) directly affected with family members and ancestral land in the Punjab.”

The letter was coordinated by Labour MP Tanmanjeet Singh Dhesi who also tweeted that he “stood with the farmers of #Punjab and other parts of India, including our family and friends, who are peacefully protesting against the encroaching privatization of #FamersBill2020.”

London is slipping into anarchy under the leadership of Sadiq Khan, and the Conservative British government must take over the London administration to ensure that he does no more harm to the foreign relations of the United Kingdom through anarchist administration.

Sadiq’s allegiances lie with the British-Pakistanis and he has no intention to perturb his biggest vote bank. Earlier, even as a human rights lawyer, Sadiq Khan tried to get the UK to lift its ban on Louis Farrakhan, leader of the American Nation of Islam, who described the Jews as ‘blood-suckers’ and Hitler ‘a very great man’. Khan also blamed the 7/7 London bombings, on British foreign policy which killed around 52 civilians in the city.

Therefore, it really shouldn’t surprise anyone that London is slipping into anarchy, with Sadiq Khan at its helm of affairs. It may be Sadiq Khan’s inefficiency or plainly deliberate actions that allow violent protests unabated and unchecked outside the Indian High Commission, jeopardizing its security. While Britain spends all its energies on Brexit politics, London is turning lawless, and Indo-British relations are being affected by the ever-growing lawlessness.
