As Maha govt’s methods get exposed, Arnab, Republic to sue Uddhav govt and Param Bir Singh for Rs 200 crore

Arnab, Uddhav Thackeray, Republic

The day the fourth pillar of democracy: media, falls, is the day India will cease to exist as a democratic country. The blue-eyed boy of the liberal cabal and Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray is working overtime to ensure that the Arnab Goswami led Republic TV is forced to close down. In a sensational sting operation carried out by Republic TV, the Maharashtra government is not only plotting to force Republic TV to down its shutters but also put Arnab Goswami behind the bars in a blatant disregard for India’s democratic fabric.

If one is certified by the liberal cabal, it doesn’t matter if one murders democracy in broad daylight, and Uddhav Thackeray emboldened by this fact, is menacingly moving forward to silence anyone who dares to question the political dynast.

In a sting operation carried out by Republic TV at Congress headquarters in Mumbai, Congress spokesperson Raghvendra Shukla reveals that the upper hierarchy of the Maharashtra government has constituted a team with the sole aim of finishing off Republic. Shukla claimed that the attack against the Republic TV is just the start. He stated that “Nobody can stop the shutting down of Republic.”

He then went on to reveal the conspiracy as he said, “Strategy is that he (Republic Media Network’s Editor-in-Chief Arnab Goswami) would have to be locked up. This is sure. Nobody on the planet can save him from being banned.”

In what reveals Chief Minister’s direct involvement in the hounding of Goswami and Republic, Shukla revealed, “There is a team that has been assigned by Uddhav Ji. They have been told that ‘you will just be involved in this and nothing else’. He (Arnab) should understand what he speaks,” said the Congress spokesman. He further reveals that “the team has already started its job” and more issues just like the ‘TRP scam‘ will come out in the coming days.

Perhaps Arnab Goswami addressing Supreme Leader Uddhav Thackeray by his first name has rubbed the dynast the wrong way.

In a blatant use of the state machinery, the stung Congress leader claimed that the intelligence agencies might be used to “find that person’s weakness.” Mumbai Commissioner of Police, Param Bir Singh is tasked to first probe the findings of the team constituted to finish off Republic.

The stung Congressman also pointed out to Sharad Pawar’s role as he said, “Yes, see the mastermind behind all this is Shri Sharad Pawar Ji. Today the administration is being run by him. If he says that no cases should be registered, then nothing will happen because you can consider him a senior figure, who has a major contribution in the alliance.”

Despite struggling to battle the China-made pandemic and pulling down the country’s battle against the Wuhan coronavirus, the entire Maharashtra government led by Chief Minister Thackeray, Mumbai CP Param Bir Singh and the godfather of the alliance, Sharad Pawar has made it their life’s mission to finish off Arnab Goswami and Republic.

Param Bir Singh acting like a loyal servant is leading the concerted attempt to besmirch Republic’s image. Recently, Param Bir Singh in a press conference indulged in spreading white lies as he falsely claimed that he had received complaints that the media network was involved in TRP malpractice and inflated its ratings through wrong means. However, the official rating agency BARC in a mail to Republic clearly stated that there is not a single complaint or malpractice found against Republic TV, Republic Bharat or any other affiliate of the Republic Media Network.

This has led to Arnab Goswami and Republic suing Param Bir Singh for a sum of Rs. 200 crores after Maharashtra government and Mumbai Police admitted in court that Republic Media Network is not named in the TRP case FIR.

Uddhav Thackeray, who has received anything on a platter, thanks to the hard work of Balasaheb Thackeray, is treating Maharashtra as his inheritance like the way he treats Shiv Sena where he and his minions rule with an authoritative hand. Uddhav perhaps doesn’t know the power of democracy as he is hell-bent on writing his own political obituary.
