Amid CCP brutalities, Hong Kong is now looking up to India to save it from China

October 1, which is celebrated every year in mainland China as the National Day of the People’s Republic of China, was marked by widespread protests in the erstwhile autonomous city of Hong Kong, as pro-democracy activists took to the streets against the Chinese Communist Party and its religiously devoted law enforcement agencies which are working overtime and enthusiastically to subvert the rights of Hong Kongers. A unique sight in this year’s protests, however, caught the eye of many, especially Indians.

A pro-democracy activist was seen Thursday carrying with him proudly the national flag of India, and waiving it as a sign of resistance against the Chinese, while also using it as a symbol of warning the CCP that much could be in the offing for it if the communist lackeys of Xi Jinping fail to mend their ways. When asked as to why he was carrying the Indian tricolour, the brave pro-democracy activist said, “Because India is fighting China. So, India is my friend!” He then took to shouting “STAND WITH INDIA!” in the protest, as the other protestors joined in and applauded him as he took the Indian flag over his head in a symbol of resistance against the CCP.

It now appears that Hong Kongers are counting on India to help them liberate their city from the clutches of Chinese tyranny. The display of the Indian tricolour at a protest in Hong Kong also shows how the activists in the city currently facing the wrath of Chinese forces due to the draconian security law imposed on it are using Indian symbols to annoy the CCP and register their protest against its authoritarianism.

It must be remembered that while the world community at large, particularly countries like the US and UK have voiced their firm opposition against the imposition of the National Security Law in Hong Kong, and have also taken stern steps in the same respect, it is India alone which has exchanged physical blows with the Chinese People’s Liberation Army (PLA) along the Indo-Tibetan border in Eastern Ladakh, and given the Chinese a beating of a lifetime while at it. This has caused a massive loss of face for Xi Jinping himself, who was caught with his pants down trying to underestimate India and provoke it, in anticipation of executing his salami-slicing tactics against the world’s oldest civilization.

Now, any mention of India, or a display of Indian symbols in Hong Kong by pro-democracy activists would serve as a salt rub over the very fresh wounds of Xi Jinping and his lackeys in the CCP. Hong Kongers have now found the perfect tool of annoying Chinese authorities who have descended upon the previously free city, to subvert its freedoms, and subjugate its people. About a 100 people were officially arrested on Thursday from various protest sites in Hong Kong.
