To expect the comrades running NDTV to not have a political bias against the Modi government is foolhardy. It is a well known fact that for NDTV, their political agenda comes first before anything but ace investor Rakesh Jhunjhunwala was having none of that. When serial propagandist Sreenivasan Jain tried to question Jhunjhunwala’s affinity for Prime Minister Modi, Jhunjhunwala completely ripped apart Sreenivasan Jain and NDTV.

During an interview with the ace investor and businessman Rakesh Jhunjhunwala, NDTV propagandist Sreenivasan Jain was ripped apart when he poked Jhunjhunwala over his support for Prime Minister Modi.

Jhunjhunwala hit out at Sreenivasan Jain for blindly criticising the government with Jain accusing the businessman of being a “fan of Mr. Modi and the BJP.” Jain further claimed that Jhunjhunwala is failing to see the “good from the bad.”

The ace investor was in no mood to let Jain off the hook as he hit back saying, “I am a fan of Mr. Modi – This is a well-known fact. As an Indian, I have a right to my political choices… But, I find you prejudiced. I find NDTV prejudiced against the government.”

Cornered, Jain made a last ditch attempt to save his channel’s already battered image by seeking to questioning the ‘prejudiced opinion’ of Jhunjhunwala.

“You feel that your opinion is not prejudiced,” said Jain. This didn’t go down well with Jhunjhunwala as he completely obliterated Jain on national TV as he said, “Well, I am a political animal. The press is not a political animal. You are supposed to be unprejudiced.”

Jain left with no response or comeback, tried to water down the situation by trying to laugh it out by saying, “I would love to think that I am unprejudiced.”

Jhunjhunwala continues to be bullish about the Indian economy as he expects more economic activity to take place despite the Wuhan coronavirus pandemic as he also pointed out that India has high exposure to equity. The businessman who’s opinion is relied upon by scores of Indians, also slammed the journalists for portraying the economy only negatively.
