Sushil Modi has never allowed a young BJP leader to rise in Bihar, now he is targeting even NDA leaders

Sushil Modi, the good for nothing politician who, unfortunately, is Deputy Chief Minister of Bihar, has attacked Chirag Paswan, the President of LJP, and a popular youth leader for expressing concerns over holding Bihar assembly polls amid Coronavirus pandemic.

Chirag Paswan has joined RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav in expressing concern over holding elections amid rising cases of Coronavirus diseases in the state. But, Sushil Modi, who did not like the fact that the young NDA leader asked for a postponement of the election, attacked both Tejashwi and Paswan.

“There are some weak students who are looking for an excuse from now and anticipating defeat they are indulging in pressure politics,” said Sushil Modi, without naming Tejashwi and Paswan.

In order to ensure that his message is not only for Tejashwi but Paswan, too, Sushil Modi further said that, “It’s for the EC to decide if elections are possible in Bihar. The NDA will abide by any EC decision,” Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Sushil Kumar Modi said. “Presently, there is no need for any political party to make statements on the EC.”

It seems Sushil Modi is not happy with the meritorious rise of Chirag Paswan in NDA and feels insecure. So far, he has ensured that not a single youth BJP leader emerges from Bihar BJP, despite being visible face of its Bihar unit, to keep his chair safe. Now, he is attacking NDA leaders also and trying to corner them so that 68 years of leader does not lose chair after the next election.

He wants the status quo to be maintained so that Nitish Kumar becomes CM again and he gets the Deputy chair. As Home Minister has already announced that NDA would fight Bihar elections under the leadership of Nitish Kumar, Sushil Modi wants timely elections to take place before anything goes wrong.

Both Nitish Kumar and Sushil Modi fears that if Covid-19 crisis worsens in the state and the incumbent government becomes further unpopular, BJP high command might change the decision to fight the election under the leadership of Nitish Kumar, which would hurt Sushil Modi, too, given the fact he is man Friday of Nitish since last 15 years.

Sushil Modi is blocking the leaders, both old horses, and the young Turks to take the centre stage. Given the fact Sushil Kumar is not popular among the voters if an independent leader rises as a popular alternative; it will be a threat to Sushil Modi’s position as the tallest leader of BJP in the state.

Therefore to maintain the status quo in the state, as it secures the position of Nitish Kumar as well as his own. Sushil Kumar has showered praises on Nitish Kumar even when other state BJP leaders have openly spoken against him.

If BJP wishes to win the state, it must sack Sushil Kumar, and make a young BJP leader or Chirag Paswan – the young, articulate, and dynamic politician, the CM face with the merger of LJP in the saffron party.

Sushil Kumar has done immense damage to BJP’s cause in the state. He is the top leader of BJP in the state since the last one and a half-decade and due to him, the second rung of BJP has not emerged so far in the state. Sushil Modi is a silent yet constant reminder to BJP that its fortunes in Bihar would not improve till he is kicked-out.
