The real reason why the entire world is supporting India in its war against China

Beware Xi Jinping

China, under Xi Jinping’s regime, has become a bully! At a time when the countries around the world are suffering from Coronavirus pandemic, which originated in Wuhan, a city of China, the Communist Party is carrying out its expansionist agenda.

Although the Chinese Communist Party is the owner of the fourth largest country in the world by area, it is trying to bully neighbours, including those around the South China Sea, for petty territorial gains. After gifting Coronavirus to countries around the world, Chinese Communist Party is trying to grab the territories of neighbouring countries- Bhutan, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Japan, Vietnam, Philippines- as they fight the Coronavirus pandemic.

China provoked all these countries through built up on the border, and after that, they turned to its Himalayan neighbour with which it shares a border of more than 3,000 KM- India.

However, its psychological warfare and pressure tactics did not work with Indian soldiers, who gave a befitting reply and killed many People’s Liberation Army troops in the Galwan Valley.

As the matter remains tense on the Line of Actual Control, the countries around the world, especially China’s other neighbours who were earlier bullied by Beijing, have extended support to India.

#HKStandswithIndia and #TaiwanStandswithIndia is trending in Hong Kong and Taiwan respectively since last few days. Japan has also deployed ballistic missiles near the China border. Given China’s bellicose behaviour with all its maritime and territorial neighbours, Japan is augmenting its air defences.

The United States, the most powerful country in the world, which has major military bases in the Pacific Ocean and the South China Sea, has also extended support to India.

The US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo has criticized China for “escalating” border tension with India and has also described the Communist Party of China (CCP) as a “rogue actor”. Almost two weeks ago, on June 9, Foreign Policy, one of the most influential American foreign policy publications, published an article titled- China is pushing India closer to the United States, and argued, Border issues, Pakistan issues, and an aggressive Beijing are causing New Delhi to pick sides in the new cold war.

The reason behind all the neighbouring countries of China extending their support to India is New Delhi’s military prowess, with which it could stand up to bully. All these countries are aware that New Delhi is the only neighbour that could stand up to Beijing and its bullying. In the Galwan Valley fight, these countries got a demonstration of how even a small number of India’s battle-hardened troops could defeat Chinese armed forces, even if their number is larger.

Indian Army is battle-hardened and has long experience of fighting in tough Himalayan terrains, thanks to regular conflicts with the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. On the other hand, the last fight in which Chinese Armed forces had is the 1978 Vietnam War more than four decades ago. The current generation of Chinese Armed Forces officers does not have experience of a single war, and this is the reason they get defeated with a smaller number of Indian armed forces units every time, as witnessed in the Galwan Valley fight and Doklam standoff.

The United States, which sees China as a threat to its hegemony, is also ready to back India in its fight against the dragon. Isolationist Trump administration knows that it could win a war against Beijing with active participation by backing Indian armed forces through defence equipment and monetary support.

Therefore, China, which could not count on a single powerful friend in the world, has no chance of winning a war against India. All the small countries in its neighbour whom it bullies regularly, now stand with India, in the fight against expansionist Chinese Communist Party. The United States, given its interest in a weakened China which cannot challenge its hegemony, also supports India.
