‘When Indian Muslims complain to Arabs, there will be an avalanche,’ Delhi Minorities Commission chief goes bonkers

Brazen display of hatred

Zafarul Islam Indian Muslims

The Delhi Minorities Commission Chairman Zafarul Islam Khan on Tuesday spit venom in a social media post where his hatred for Hindus and public display of affection for the likes of Zakir Naik and his Islamic masters was on full display. The Commission comes under Arvind Kejriwal, the Chief Minister of Delhi, and if nothing–it proves the kind of bureaucracy that Kejriwal has brewed under his tenure where a government official is openly indulging in provocation and threatening Hindus with an ‘avalanche’ by the Muslims of the country.

The unhinged Khan took to Facebook where he was mollycoddling Kuwait for standing with the Indian Muslims. “Thank you Kuwait for standing with the Indian Muslims! The Hindutva bigots calculated that given the huge economic stakes involved the Muslim and Arab world will not care about the persecution of Muslims in India.” he said in the post.

Zafarul and his animosity for the Hindus, in particular, was on overdrive as he said that “Indian Muslims have opted until now not to complain to the Arab and Muslim world about your hate campaigns and lynchings and riots. The day they are pushed to do that, bigots will face an avalanche.” It seems like Zafarul lives in some parallel dimension as he, in a rather quizzical manner, kept referring to the Arab world as if they were some kind of saviors for the Indian Muslims.

The vile anti-Hindu stance of Zafarul Islam is perfectly fathomable–given where he comes from but he did not stop there. The chairman of a ‘minority’ commission in his hate-rhetoric then started singing praises for the fugitive Zakir Naik who is on a run from the Indian authorities for his role in numerous terrorist activities. Funnily, he said that people like Zakir Naik are respected household names in the Arab and Muslim world.

His post comes at the heel of a tweet from a minister in Kuwait’s Ministry of Islamic Affairs, where few ministers of Kuwait cabinet had expressed concern over alleged atrocities on the Indian Muslims.

However, within 24 hours of the tweet, the Kuwait Government through its envoy released a statement that Kuwait was committed to maintaining friendly ties with India and that it does not support any interference in Internal affairs of India—thereby distancing themselves from the tweet.

In the last two weeks, there have been several instances where anti-India entities have been engaging in cyber warfare by masquerading as Arabs while tweeting frivolous statements trying to project an image that Indian Muslims are in danger.

Every other ploy by these elements has so far been defused but in times like these, folks like Zafarul come out and show their true colors and where their allegiances lie. His bootlicking of the Arab world, clink in the eyes for Zakir Naik, and distaste for Indians at large came out in full splashing glory.

Zafarul is the same man who had prepared the highly obnoxious report of the North-east Delhi riots which needs to be thrown into the dustbin the moment anybody lays a hand on it. In his report, the highly radicalized Zafarul claimed that the Delhi violence was “one-sided and well planned” and that “maximum” damage was inflicted on houses and shops of Muslims.”

By terming the violence ‘One-sided’, Islam gave the get-out-the-jail free card to the likes of Shahrukh and his community who were brandishing pistols in the violence that had ensued in the wake of Anti-CAA protests.

The Minority Commissions across the country carry this notion around that Hindus are the oppressors of Muslims and therefore it does not come as a surprise when some invasive individual like Zafarul makes such incendiary comment.

Even if Kejriwal does not take action on the provocative statements of Zafarul Islam directed towards Hindus (Read: Hanuman Chalisa), he should at least show some spine by throwing him out of the office for sympathizing with a fugitive and a terrorist.

The ball is in Kejriwal’s court and it needs to be seen if he takes any action or characteristically to his behavior lets such pest infest the ailing walls of his sprawling secretariat.
