The world community seems to be getting its act together and standing up to China, for it does not take an incredible level of intelligence to know that the world is in the mess that it is in, courtesy to China, and the World Health Organization’s complacency with the dystopian communist regime of the country.
Donald Trump, only last evening (IST), put out a tweet officially recognizing the WHO’s complacency with China, which has caused over 82,000 deaths worldwide already. He went a step further and said that the US was actively deliberating upon the possibility of cutting its share of contributions to the WHO.
The W.H.O. really blew it. For some reason, funded largely by the United States, yet very China centric. We will be giving that a good look. Fortunately I rejected their advice on keeping our borders open to China early on. Why did they give us such a faulty recommendation?

Needless to say, China is not liking the scrutiny and criticism which is being hurled at them for the past two months now, and Xi Jinping is employing every minion under his command to threaten media houses (allegedly even paying some in India) to doll out Chinese propaganda. In the same line, a Chinese diplomat in Australia shot off a letter to ‘The Daily Telegraph’, a popular daily in Australia, questioning their vigorous coverage of the Chinese virus. The newspaper then reigned fire on the Chinese regime for trying to bully them, and began with calling the government of China a ‘communist dictatorship’. It gave a point by point rebuttal to the Chinese Consulate in a piece titled, “Via Local Commie Underlings, Beijing Officially Disapproves”.

The letter called the newspaper’s coverage of the pandemic “full of ignorance, prejudice and arrogance.”
The paper replied with, “If a state-owned newspaper in China received this kind of complaint, subsequent days would involve journalists waking up in prison with their organs harvested.”
When the diplomat questioned the paper’s coverage viz a viz the virus being given a ‘Chinese origin’ even when the WHO had termed it as ‘COVID-19′, the rebuttal read:
The World Health Organisation also appointed Zimbabwean murderer Robert Mugabe as its Goodwill Ambassador and declared on March 2 that the “stigma” of the coronavirus “is more dangerous than the virus itself”. The World Health Organisation does a lot of stupid stuff.
Further, when questioned about their motives to link the virus as one with a ‘Chinese’ origin, the paper simply said that “our motive is accuracy”.
It must be remembered that contrary to precedent, the WHO this time round did not name the virus after its country of origin, since China most probably shoved loads of cash down their throats.
The letter further cribbed about how the people of Wuhan had made tremendous personal sacrifices to contain the spread of the ‘epidemic’. To this emotional blackmail, the Daily Telegraph replied with:
Wuhan’s Dr Li Wenliang indeed made a huge effort to warn people about the coronavirus outbreak. Then, as the New York Times reported: “In early January, he was called in by both medical officials and the police, and forced to sign a statement denouncing his warning as an unfounded and illegal rumour.”
Dr. Wenliang was the first whistle-blower who cautioned his friends and colleagues to protect themselves from what back then was an ‘unknown infection’. He was harassed by the Chinese regime, and ultimately lost his life to the virus in February, amidst allegations of officials tampering with his life support system.
The diplomat then made the mistake of calling the governance in China based on a ‘people-centric philosophy’, and went on to propound the advantages of the ‘Chinese system’. The paper simply shred these arguments into bits and pieces.
In 2018, Amnesty International reported that China executed more citizens than the rest of the world combined. Please tell us more about your “people-centred philosophy” and how many bullets it requires.
The paper also took the WHO to the cleaners and said that it was playing an active role in spreading ‘Chinese misinformation’, as is seen in the tweet below:

This was in reply to the letter claiming that China has been updating the international community and WHO in a ‘timely and transparent manner’.
The letter further had the temerity to claim that China was helping the world fight the pandemic and doing its best to contain the rapid spread of the virus.
Thousands of Chinese-made coronavirus testing kits and medical masks exported to Spain, Turkey and the Netherlands turned out to be “below standard or defective”, according to the BBC, the paper replied.
By far, this is the best reply which any media outlet in the world has given to the dictatorial regime of China. It is a cue for the media worldwide to up the ante against the Chinese regime and demand answers to legitimate questions.
This reply by the Daily Telegraph, by the way, was published on a double page spread in Saturday’s edition.
