In a startling revelation that establishes the link of Kejriwal led Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) in the anti-CAA violence in the national capital, it has been reported that AAP leader and Rajya Sabha MP, Sanjay Singh was in touch with the radical Islamist organisation- SIMI-affiliate Popular Front of India (PFI).
The PFI is the radical Islamist organisation which orchestrated anti-CAA violence in the national capital as well as other parts of the country. It was also involved in funding the Shaheen Bagh sit-in protests and roadblock.
Last month, a link between the PFI and the AAP during investigations by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) regarding the funds that the PFI received and its role in anti-CAA riots in Uttar Pradesh.
In a shocking development, it had come to light that WhatsApp conversations had taken place between Mohammed Parvez Ahmed, President of PFI Delhi and the AAP Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh.
What makes these conversations that much more shocking and objectionable is the fact that Mohammed Parvez Ahmed has now been arrested by the Special Cell of the Delhi Police, along with PFI Secretary Mohammad Iliyas.
A senior Delhi Police Special Cell official said, “We have arrested Mohammad Iliyas (PFI Secretary) and Parvez Ahmed (Delhi PFI Preisdent) for their alleged role in instigating the people during the Delhi riots.” He also raised the issue of their involvement in funding the anti-CAA riots.
Imagine the two office bearers of the radical Islamist organisation affiliated to a banned terror organisation (SIMI) getting arrested for involvement in anti-CAA riots and a Rajya Sabha MP interacting with one of them.
Now, the Enforcement Directorate has also seized a tab from Mohammed Parvez Ahmed leading to another shocking discovery. The Enforcement Directorate has claimed that the said tab has record of a conversation between the PFI Delhi President and a “Rajya Sabha MP of a leading Delhi party”.
The conversation took place allegedly for coordinating the anti-CAA protests at Shaheen Bagh and violence at JNU.

It is only relevant to mention here that Delhi has three Rajya Sabha MPs- all of them belong to the Kejriwal led AAP. In this context and also in the backdrop of past allegations against him, Sanjay Singh has obviously come to occupy the spotlight for all the wrong reasons.
The AAP has a lot to answer now. During the Delhi riots, the name of one of its Corporators had directly figured in IB staffer Ankit Sharma’s murder. Apart from that, Amanatullah Khan, Okhla MLA, has been regularly found provoking anti-CAA violence and now one of its Rajya Sabha MPs has directly come under the scanner for colluding with PFI- the body that has fomented violence in garb of anti-CAA protests across the length and breadth of the country. All links about Delhi riots point directly to AAP.
