The liberal ecosystem of India is imploding on Twitter. Friends and admirers have turned foes, throwing mud on each other as though they themselves have no sins to their credit. All in all, it is a delightful sight to say the least.

India has reported 126 positive cases of the COVID-19 Coronavirus pandemic, with three deaths reported, the latest being that of an old woman in Mumbai. Faced with an imminent threat to public health and safety, self-claimed journalist and a known Islamist – Rana Ayyub went on a bit of a generalization spree last evening, calling everyone in India morally corrupt and already dead. To be precise, Ayyub tweeted, “What can a virus kill in a morally  corrupt nation”. This has triggered an unprecedented storm on the rabid Islamist, with even her sympathizers and friends not extending the courtesy of supporting her.

‘Journalist’ Swati Chaturvedi minced no words in taking Ayyub to the cleaners, however ironic that might sound. Ever since, her feed is filled with tweets and retweets against Rana Ayyub, and boy, it’s one hell of a sea of tweets. Swati called Ayyub, among the many things that Rana is, an ‘opportunist’, a ‘vile person’ and a ‘leper journalist’. She also said that Rana has as much empathy as a ‘door-knob’. Ouch.

In the meantime, Sonia Gandhi loyalist Pallavi Ghosh jumped in, and called Rana a ‘mean person’.

By now, Swati had used some more adjectives and called Rana Ayyub ‘sick’ and ‘nihilistic’.

Next up, Abhisar Sharma stepped in, and Swati and him scratched each other’s backs for quite some time.

Although Rana and Swati were admirers of one another, what changed was perhaps Rana blocking Swati after the latter informed the Islamist that the CBI does not report to the Home Minster. Things have been sour ever since.

Rohini Singh, the journalist gifted with a 2 BHK flat, also discovered her empathetic and self-righteous self, by thrashing Rana Ayyub.

However, Rana was not willing to give up just yet.

Being the Islamist she is, thrashing Rana Ayyub could have made it case for ‘Islamophobia’. That the lesser sinners persisted nevertheless is commendable. Whoever may be the victor, this episode has exposed the fragility, and also the inhumanity of the Left-liberals in India. As for the Right, we’re right here with our popcorn!
