‘We’ll teach you a lesson,’ the UK is set to go all guns blazing at China over Coronavirus

The UK is furious

UK China Coronavirus

One of the biggest casualties of the Coronavirus Pandemic has been the United Kingdom (UK) with 19,522 confirmed cases having already been recorded in the Constitutional Monarchy which includes high profile cases such as Prime Minister Boris Johnson and Prince Charles.

With PM Boris Johnson and Prince Charles too getting infected and bleak predictions about how things are going to go ahead from here, it seems that the Great Britain saga is all but over.

The UK is unsurprisingly fuming at what it has been reduced into after being hit by the Wuhan virus and has now hit out at Beijing over hiding crucial information about the Pandemic and downplaying it. In fact, UK government officials have accused China of downplaying the number of Coronavirus cases “by a factor of 15 to 40 times.”

Three government officials have revealed anger within the Johnson government against China for downplaying the severity of the Wuhan virus. One of them said, “It is going to be back to the diplomatic drawing board after this. Rethink is an understatement”. Another official said that anger goes right to the top.

As a matter of fact, the Boris Johnson government is so livid with China that the British Prime Minister is even considering going back on his decision to allow the Chinese tech major Huawei to develop the 5G network in the country.

Initially, the UK had not taken the Pandemic seriously itself, announcing its disastrous “Herd Immunity” strategy of allowing 60 per cent infection rate to build up so that immunity against the virus would kick in and the spread of the infection would itself get reduced.

However, the UK had landed in trouble even before it realised that this would come to bite back the country not only because of its loose medical ethics but also because there are cases of people recovering and getting infected again so that “Herd Immunity” might never kick in.

What the UK is however rightly fuming at is the fact that even after the China-made virus originated somewhere in the unsanitary wet markets of China’s Hubei province, the Dragon kept hiding the real data and intensity of the virus. From the very beginning, the Chinese State media made it a point to bury the real facts about Coronavirus under the carpet.

What also makes the suspicion of the Communist regime in China downplaying the real numbers really plausible is the fact that the spread of the virus shot up during the Lunar New Year celebrations on January 25, when mass scale travel took place in China virtually spreading it across the country.

Given how the Pandemic has risen in other parts of the world, with even single infected patients like ‘Patient 31’ gripping an entire country like South Korea, it is almost certain that China is hiding the real picture of the Pandemic, especially when it comes to provinces beyond Hubei.

And then visuals of people dressed as medical officials entering quarantined areas of Wuhan and reports of mysteriously disappearing whistleblower-journalists present a bleak picture of what the situation is like in China insofar Coronavirus is concerned.

What the Chinese cover-up has done is take the rest of the world, including the UK, by surprise. What China also did was to collude with the World Health Organisation (WHO) in its misinformation campaign.

The WHO which turned into a propaganda wing for China refused to acknowledge human to human transmission of the Wuhan virus despite several warnings and castigated countries like the USA and India who started restricting flights to and from China.

When the virus spread to other parts of the world, every country was suddenly confronted with long incubation periods and asymptomatic patients passing on the virus further. China never really cooperated in revealing these details to the rest of the world and now the entire globe is bearing the brunt of its misadventures and cover-ups.
