Will go to any extent to stay relevant

As Delhi Assembly polls came to an end, anti CAA violence picked up in the national capital once again. Some student-activists from the Jamia Milia Islamia University, who had drawn fire for intense violence last month, are yet again in the limelight for all the wrong reasons.

The student-activists clashed with the police while trying to undertake a march to the Parliament without prior police permission.

According to a statement by the Delhi Police, “The Delhi Police, especially the South-East District, showed a lot of patience in handling the aggressive Jamia Students near Holy Family Hospital where they were forcing their way through the police barricades and trying to march to Parliament without permission.”

The Delhi Police has also registered a case against those who fomented violence while attempting to carry out a march against the CAA and the NRC from the central varsity to the Parliament.

The police statement read, “A case is being registered against the violent crowd under relevant provisions of law.”

Meanwhile, the left liberal ecosystem and the mainstream media has once again come up with hearsay stories and bizarre allegations in an attempt to pin the blame for mindless violence upon the police.

Last month, there were ugly scenes of violence at Jamia Nagar, which is located in the immediate vicinity of the central university. Later, intense violence also took grip of East Delhi’s Seelampur as the anti-CAA lobby ran riot in the national capital.

There were revelations of the Islamist organisation, PFI joining hands with political outfits such as the Congress and AAP in orchestrating violence, revealing a deep nexus between political players and Islamist outfits.

Delhi has also witnessed ugly protests and a massive roadblock at Shaheen Bagh over the past one month, again a location situated not too far away from the Jamia Milia Islamia University.

Delhi Deputy Chief Minister, Manish Sisodia had even declared support for the Shaheen Bagh protests. It is clear at who benefitted from the anti CAA violence and protests.

The anti-CAA lobby is now looking to exit the scene. It came into being for a purpose and now it is not of much practical use.

Delhi Assembly polls are over and as such the anti-CAA lobby has no political objective to achieve now. Even as it is looking to fold up, it decided to end with a bang by once again instigating violence in the National Capital.
