‘ABP is Godi media!’ Swara Bhasker goes totally crazy after being humiliated by Rubika Liyaquat

Rubika Liyaquat, Swara Bhaskar

Activist Swara Bhasker is finding it extremely difficult to overcome her post-traumatic stress of having been thrashed publicly by journalist Rubika Liyaquat for her lack of knowledge on a multiplicity of issues, ranging from CAA to NRC. Many were expecting a meltdown on her part, trying to defend herself in the face of such exposure to one’s illiteracy, however, the lady has gone bonkers, to say the least.

While Swara maintained an astute silence on Twitter for quite some time after her embarrassing performance at the Hindustan Shikhar Sangam, she did resume ranting, with the only difference being that contrary to other days, each and every tweet yesterday was an attempt at portraying herself as a victim of ‘Godi media’ and, needless to say, right-wing propaganda.

Swara Bhaskar’s meltdown was initiated at the event itself. Facing an embarrassment like never before, Swara alleged that Rubika was “playing the gallery” and that the audience was in her favour, by implication of which she meant that ABP News and Hindustan Shikhar Samagam had brought in ‘sanghis’ to witness her complete obliteration. This meltdown was then reflected throughout yesterday on her Twitter profile. She went on a bizarre retweet spree, and also quoted tweets of her supporters to create the impression that Twitter users were more than glad about her performance, when in fact, they all knew that anything they say in her support would get her to retweet and quote the respective tweets. That’s how desperate Swara has been lately.

It all started with a retweet by Swara Bhaskar of the following twitter user’s profound opinion.

There was no looking back for Swara Bhaskar thereafter. She did nothing the entire day but spam people’s twitter feed’s by retweeting inane tweets in her support.

In the above tweets, Swara tries her best to convince some of her followers that it was instead her, who had thrashed a ‘godi media’ journalist by the name Rubika Liyaquat. Just so there’s clarity on the subject, despite her tweeting and claiming victory, the entire conversation was a disastrous embarrassment for Swara Bhaskar. As for the ‘godi media’ card, Swara should have been better informed than ABP News is the last media network she can brand as ‘pro-BJP’ or ‘godi-media’.

If you thought it stops there, you’re in for a big surprise. The woman barely rested yesterday. She was committed to not let Rubika have the last laugh, although the latter clearly did.

One lady was of the opinion that NPR is a precursor to NRC and that the Citizenship Rules, 2003 need to be overhauled to prevent a nationwide-NRC. And Swara retweeted this insanity.

Dhruv Rathee too descended for helping out Bhaskar.

I understand that this is too much toxicity to take in for now. I will stop with the tweet-plugging here. Those who would want to have a better look at Swara’s display of desperation should go to her profile and check out the insanity in all its totality (although it could be harmful to one’s mental peace).

What can be deduced from Swara’s show on her Twitter profile yesterday is the fact that she was aiming to discredit Rubika Liyaquat, for which she and her comrades pulled out old video snippets of her interview with PM Modi. Why and how Swara Bhaskar would want the same treatment as the Prime Minister of the world’s largest democracy is something which I am unable to comprehend. She then also aimed her guns at the audience which dared to cheer during Rubika thrashing Swara left, right and centre. Finally, she clubbed ABP News as a part and parcel of the ‘godi media’ cabal.

Despite all her efforts, Swara Bhaskar has managed to impress next to nobody, and her only support system is a deranged club of communists and liberals seeking an existential validation by aiming for the activist’s retweet.
