‘Button yahan dabe aur current Shaheen Bagh mein lage,’ Amit Shah destroys Tukde Tukde gang yet again

Great going, Amit Shah

Amit Shah, CAA, shaheen bagh,

As the election fervour rises in the national capital, BJP and AAP, the major parties in Delhi are leaving no stone unturned to woo the voters. BJP star campaigner and Home Minister Amit Shah has been touring the constituencies in the capital, he asked the people of Babarpur to press the EVM button with such anger that the current of it is felt inside the Shaheen Bagh.

He said while addressing an election rally, “Button (on EVM) dabao tab inte gusse ke saath dabana ki button yahan Babarpur mein dabbe, current Shaheen Bagh ke andar lage.” (“Press the button (of EVM) on February 8 with such intensity that its current (shock) is felt in Shaheen Bagh so that they are compelled to leave the place.” )

Latest reports show that Shaheen Bagh protest is being supported by a consortium of anti-India forces, joined by their hate for the nation. Its organiser, Sharjeel Imam has already exposed the true nature and objective of this protest by suggesting separating the northeast from the rest of India by blocking Indian troops and supplies at the Siliguri corridor.

The faceless organisers behind are running a campaign against the CAA in the form of women and children protesting at Shaheen Bagh, especially young girls. To understand the level of propaganda of these protestors, in one of the videos, a girl can be heard saying, “We’ll not be allowed to wear clothes. We’ll be given food only once a day at the detention camps.” Young kids are being misled with the same ‘concentration camp’ myth which was initially propagated by the opposition parties.

National Committee for Protection of Child Rights (NCPCR) had also taken cognisance of the issue and a letter was written to the District Magistrate of South East Delhi, wherein the NCPCR said the children “may suffer from mental trauma” as a result of rumours and miscommunication. To quote the commission’s observations on the same, “These children are shouting that their elders have told them that Prime Minister [Narendra Modi] and Home Minister [Amit Shah]…will ask them to produce documents of citizenship, and if they fail to produce [them], they will be sent to detention centres, where they will not be allowed even food and clothing.”

Amit Shah in his speech has also reiterated BJP commitment for national security, “Your vote will ensure national as well as security of Delhi and it will make sure Shaheen Bagh kind incidents do not happen.”

The usual suspects have although, jumped the bandwagon to attack the Home minister for his remarks. Rabid Modi-Shah hater Anurag Kashyap took to Twitter to rant one more time.

It would be interesting to see how the Delhi votes, however HM Amit Shah and PM Narendra Modi’s commitment to the national security would be a crucial factor in voters’ mind. AAP’s affection towards the Shaheen Bagh and its supporters would create a major dent in its image. But AAP does not care about that as long as the vote- bank is intact.
