“Bhaag jao yahan se, tum chhote aadmi ho”, Akhilesh Yadav insults aged doctor in a bid to further his politics

Exposing the present-day Samajwad of SP, Akhilesh Yadav, the former CM of UP and the leader of the party has depicted his hatred for the common people as he labels a medical officer a ‘Sanghi’ as he belonged to Gorakhpur. Akhilesh who takes pride in calling himself a follower of ‘Samajvad’ of Ram Manohar Lohiya and Jay Prakash Narayan, has stooped a new low, abusing a Doctor and calling him a ‘petty employee’.

 Showing his frustration after not finding any faults in the functioning of the hospital, Former Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav on Monday directed his anger towards a doctor on emergency duty at a government hospital, while meeting the patients of the recent bus accident in Kannauj.

In a video of the incident, Akhilesh Yadav is seen angrily reprimanding a senior consultant doctor, who was on emergency duty at the hospital, for speaking the truth about the disbursement of compensations while he was talking to the patients. “You are a petty employee (officer). You cannot defend the government,” Yadav was heard telling the emergency medical officer (EMO) DS Mishra.

After inquiring about his hometown, the former CM termed Dr Mishra a Sanghi (from RSS) as he said he was from Gorakhpur, the district of the CM Yogi Adityanath. EMO Mishra was insulted further asking him to leave the room immediately as he tried to tell the leader about the compensation amount been given to the injured, he says, “Tum kuch mat bolo, tum sarkari aadmi ho, hume pata hai kya hoti hai sarkar, tum RSS aur BJP ke ho sakte ho par tum sarkar ka paksh nahi le sakte…bahar bhaag jao.”

Shocked by the arrogance of a former CM, doctor Mishra stated, “I was standing there because I am their attending officer. When the patient’s family members claimed that they did not receive their cheque (compensation), I tried to clarify that they have received the cheque,” Dr Mishra added. He said that Akhilesh Yadav then asked him to go away even though he was on emergency duty.

This is however hardly the first time when we have noticed the arrogance of Akhilesh as he had also allegedly snatched the mike from his father Mulayam Singh Yadav during a public meeting. It is also an open secret now that he snatched the party away from his father and uncle. The arrogance of then CM Akhilesh Yadav resulted in Shivpal Yadav, the organisational leader of the SP, resigning from all the posts of the party and floating a new party. These events were the prime reason behind the electoral travesty of the party in the state.

In order to prove his Samajwadi credentials, Akhilesh must apologise to the doctor as well as his father Mulayam for his arrogance. He must realize that he is no more a Chief Minister, he cannot obstruct the government servants from performing their statutory duties. However his political frustration is the sole reason behind this as his primary rival at home, CM Yogi Adityanath is steering the government in a commendable way.
