“Police is setting fire to buses!” Atishi, Sisodia of AAP tried to implicate Delhi Police, get dirt on face
Share on FacebookShare on X

As Delhi police was trying hard to pacify the violent protest against the CAA, Delhi’s AAP government was busy instilling the Muslims to create more chaos, with direct involvement of deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia and Atishi Marlena in the violent protest by peddling fake news and morphed pictures on social media to appease the Muslims.

AAP leaders trying to shield the violent protesters along with the students of Jamia varsity coined the fake news that Delhi police was setting the buses and vehicles on fire in their motive to protect the radical Muslims involved in the protest.

Notably, AAP MLA Amanatullah Khan openly instigated the Muslim mobs, Delhi police has even registered an FIR against him which relates to arson, rioting, damage to government property and obstructing the government work.

Amanatullah with other local goons were directly involved in the rioting, local Muslims alongside other protesters torched four public buses and two police vehicles as they clashed with the police in New Friends Colony, near Jamia Millia Islamia, during a demonstration against the amended Citizenship Act, leaving nearly 60 people including students, cops and firefighters injured. Hundreds of students reached the old Delhi Police headquarters at ITO late Sunday night to take part in an “emergency” protest against the police action at Jamia Millia University.

— Dr Kumar Vishvas (@DrKumarVishwas) December 15, 2019

In his attempt to shield the real culprits, Deputy CM Manish Sisodia tweeted, “BJP is setting fire in Delhi for fear of defeat in elections. The AAP is against violence of any kind. This is cheap politics of BJP. In this video, see how the fire is being set under the protection of the police.”

— Manish Sisodia (@msisodia) December 15, 2019

While his party colleague Atishi Marlena blamed the Delhi police that it was setting the buses on fire, however, it was visible from her video that the police poured water over the fire, she tweeted, “Pls look at this footage carefully – police is setting fire to buses! Is this BJP’s attempt to divert attention when they know they are losing upcoming elections in Delhi? #BJPburningDelhi.”

— Atishi (@AtishiAAP) December 15, 2019

As the every leader of AAP was instilling the chaos and shielding the culprits, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal was shamelessly appealing to protesters to remain calm. “No one should indulge in violence. Any kind of violence is unacceptable. Protests should remain peaceful,” Kejriwal said in a tweet.

The AAP left no stones unturned in blaming the Delhi police via fake news while on the hand people posted the real videos, through which it was quite that some miscreants were pelting stones, raising slogans and burning the vehicles. The way the female students of Jamia varsity shielded these rioters is outstanding as rioters took shelter inside the university after terrorizing the entire area.

These protesters started setting a bus on fire while passengers were inside, just like they did in Godhra. One of these days an unfotunate incident will happen.

Lots of lies being spread by the usual suspects to provide cover for what happened in Delhi. Usual gaslighting that they did during the JNU saga(fake tapes etc) but RW has learned its lesson, good response.
Lie 1 – Police poured fuel in buses. NO, it was water. Video here pic.twitter.com/6p4PaFfcst

https://twitter.com/JaskiratSB/status/1206241915806441472?s=20

DCP, South-East Delhi, Chinmoy Biswal: This (Police burnt buses) is an absolute lie. When mob was setting fire to properties, police tried to douse the fire by asking for water from residents. As far as the particular bus is concerned, Police saved it by using water from a bottle pic.twitter.com/mI1Vq7gXKA

— ANI (@ANI) December 16, 2019

It was later established that the Police were dousing the fire on the bus, set by protesters and that it had not been burnt down at all. But, Instead of condemning the violence and damage to public property carried out by protesters, AAP leaders among many other leftists tried to implicate Delhi Police and turn more crowds against them. The irresponsible actions of the AAP government, promoting complete anarchy just to spite the center is abhorrent and shameful and deserves to be taken action against.
