PK is openly gathering anti-BJP forces and BJP is smiling coyly! It is time to throw out JDU from NDA

This is the “IT” moment

Prashant Kishor- the political strategist who joined JD(U) in September last year is trying to make CAA-NRC protest a pan-national movement. During the voting on the Citizenship Amendment Bill, many parties like- JD(U), YSRCP supported the bill in both houses of the Parliament, but now they have changed their stance on the implementation of NRC in respective states.

This sudden ‘change of mind’ was orchestrated by Prashant Kishor, who backed JD(U) and YSRCP to win the assembly election in respective states.

On Monday, Prashant Kishor applauded Congress leader Rahul Gandhi for joining the “movement” against CAA-NRC and also asked him to impress upon the Congress presidents to officially declare that there will be no NRC in their respective states.

“Thanks @rahulgandhi for joining citizens’ movement against #CAA_NRC. But as you know beyond public protests we also need states to say NO to #NRC to stop it. We hope you will impress upon the CP to OFFICIALLY announce that there will be #No_NRC in the #Congress ruled states.” tweeted Kishor.

Kishor, on being trolled about the fact that most of the Congress Chief Ministers have already declared that NRC will not be implemented in the states governed by Congress and also keeping in mind that Kishor’s party- JD(U)- voted in favour of Citizenship (Amendment) Bill in both houses, he replied, “Rather than trying to inform me what Congress CMs have said please share the OFFICIAL statement of the Congress President announcing that there will NO NRC in Congress-ruled states. I am sorry voting against CAB didn’t stop it, states saying NO to NRC will. So don’t get confused.”

It is very much visible that, on a political scale, Prashant Kishor is leading the protest against CAA-NRC. In the last few years, he played an instrumental role in ensuring victory for the non-BJP/non-NDA parties.

So far, despite the antics of Kishor, JD(U) Supremo- Nitish Kumar– has not made a single public statement against the antics of its Vice President. In fact, after the public stand of Kishor against CAA-NRC, Nitish Kumar publicly stated that NRC will not be implemented in the state.

Nitish Kumar is surely not a trustworthy person. He changes the camps and alliances at the drop of a hat and it is very clear that he is not going to support BJP in implementation of key agenda. Therefore, it is right for the saffron party to call out the alliance with JD(U); blaming the antics of Kishor.

Less than a year is left for the Bihar Assembly election 2020, and the saffron party needs to go alone in the election, whatever be the results. As, given the fact that, JD(U) is not helpful in implementation of key agenda, despite it won all Lok Sabha seats in 2014 and 2019 riding on the popularity of Modi, there is no use of the party.

Shiv Sena, which marked its highest ever tally in general election due to alliance with BJP, ultimately dumped the party for the CM seat. In the last five years, Shiv Sena attacked PM Modi and BJP even more often than the opposition parties, but the saffron party trusted its decade-old ally, with the delusion that the public statement against BJP and PM Modi are just ‘theatrics’. But, the real colours of the party were seen after the 2019 assembly election, after the party called off the alliance with its ‘natural ally’ to go with the UPA; all for CM’s chair.

BJP should learn from the previous mistake, and dump JD(U) on the base of Prashant Kishor’s antics. Because Nitish Kumar would not shy away from dumping BJP at the drop of a hat if his interests are best served in the opposition camp.
