Modi magic was on full display as PM Narendra Modi bust all the propaganda of the liberals in a single stroke, the crowd behaved like he was the pied piper, cheering for him like never before, chanting ‘Modi, Modi’. As PM Modi addressed a rally today in the Ramlila Maidan in the national capital with his supporters echoing his name, opposition realised that they are no match for PM’s oratory and crowd-pulling skills.
PM clarified the spreading the rumours, “Citizenship Act doesn’t apply to any Indians – be it Hindu or Muslim. It applies to the refugees from Bangladesh, Afghanistan and Pakistan.”
Invoking Mahatma Gandhi, Modi made his point but not without taking a sharp dig at the Gandhi family he said slammed the Gandhi family for misusing the surname. Modi was at his aggressive best when he referred to certain opposition parties as “remote control” behind the current anti-CAA agitation. “There’s no discussion on NRC… Some educated urban Naxals are spreading this rumour that all Muslims will be sent to detention centres. ‘Ye jhutt hai, ye jhutt hai, ye jhutt hai’ (These are lies),” he said.
PM coined an interesting slogan ‘Vividhta mein Ekta- bharat ki visheshta’ alongside his usual ‘bharat mata ki jai’, mammoth crowd of people present for the speech responded to this call with loud cheers and excitement. The crowd exhibited the liberals the way most loved leader of the country should be treated, crowd shouted cheering its leader, PM too highlighted this heart-warming response of the people while expressing his gratitude.
PM Modi slammed the propaganda of the congress and other parties, “some political parties are spread various rumours regarding CAA, they are misleading, incite the people. Did we ask about the religion of the people when we legalize the illegal colonies, did we ask for any proof (documents) of 1970, 1975 or 1985. It benefits all the people irrespective of religion.”
PM added, “Why we did that, coz we have won due to our affection (love) towards the nation, we are dedicated for ‘sabka sath- sabka Vikas’, I challenge the liars to scrutinise all my works if they find discrimination, then put it in front of the nation.”
Exposing the pseudo seculars and the Muslim appeasement of the parties, the PM said, “I wanted to ask Congress and other parties which have played the politics of partition- why are you lying, why are you incite fear” Congress and its friends, some urban Naxals are spreading rumours that all Muslims will be sent to detention centres…Respect your education, read what is Citizenship Amendment Act and NRC. You are educated.”
Showing the humanitarian side of the CAA, Modi told the public, “Around 2 weeks ago, a daughter was born at Majnu-ka-Tila area of Delhi, she was named ‘Nagarikta‘. I want to ask miscreants and people engaged in remote control politics if lives of ‘Nagarikta‘ and her parents become easy if problem of any citizen of the country is solved, why does it pain you?” he asked.
Slamming the use of Tiranga in these violent protests, PM Modi said, “I am very confident that those who are standing with the tricolour in their hands will also raise voice against Pakistan sponsored terrorism. They will inspire people to do that.”

Enlightening the difference between an infiltrator and a refugee, PM Narendra Modi said, “There is a very simple difference, an infiltrator never reveals his identity and a refugee never hides his identity. Many of these infiltrators are coming out and speaking. Why don’t they speak the truth? They are scared that their reality will come out.”
Acknowledge and remembering the supreme sacrifice of the police personnel, he asked the people to pay tribute to these heroes, said, “33,000 police personnel sacrificed their lives for peace and security in the country, since independence. Today, you are brutally thrashing them. When any problem arises, police don’t ask your religion or caste, whatever the weather or time they are there to help you, he said slamming the violence against the police personnel during CAA protests.
Clearing the air on NRC, busting all myths, PM Narendra Modi stated, “NRC came at the time of Congress. Were they sleeping then? We neither brought NRC in cabinet nor in Parliament. If we’re passing a legislation to give you ownership rights, in the same session will we bring legislation to send you out?”
PM Modi also slammed West Bengal CM Mamata for her ‘referendum ‘remarks, “Mamata didi went from Kolkata to UN. Few years back, she was pleading before Parliament that infiltrators coming from Bangladesh should be stopped. Didi, what has happened to you? Why did you change? Why are you spreading rumours? Elections come & go. Why are you scared?”
Prime minister Modi slammed the opposition leaders alongside the liberals on Ramlila ground amid fluttering BJP flags, beating of drums and excited attendees, it’s clear that Modi is the unmistakable crowd puller. Many of the BJP supporters were seen dancing to tunes that were dedicated to Prime Minister. Needless to say, BJP put its best bet forward and hopes to use his image to win Delhi election, where it was decimated by AAP in the last polls. Though Modi’s focus largely remained the opposition parties and their alleged flip flops on the Citizenship Amendment Act, Modi had done one thing he has slapped the liberals like never before and its amusing the way liberals have reacted after PM’s address.
