British Indians have shown Corbyn his place, Sadiq Khan will go down next

Countdown begins

Sadiq Khan, Corbyn, Indians

The sitting PM Boris Johnson has achieved a thumping majority, a first for the UK House of Commons since 2005, when Tony Blair of Labour Party had last won the elections with a clear majority. The Conservatives’ victory in the 650th and final contest of the election – the seat of St Ives, in Cornwall – took their total number of MPs up to 365 MPs. Labour finished on 203, the SNP 48, Liberal Democrats 11 and the DUP eight.

Jeremy Bernard Corbyn, leader of the Labour Party, has not only accepted defeat but also announced to step down, refusing to lead the party further in any forthcoming elections. Taking the Labour Party and its leader Jeremy Corbyn to the floor, the British Indians have shown the right place to the anti India gentleman and his party.

Labour’s “red wall” across the Midlands and the north of England – the bedrock of the party’s support for generations – crumbled as the Conservatives claimed key marginal seats. Former mining towns like Workington, which was seen as representative of the voters parties needed to win over, backed the Tories. Even, Tony Blair’s former constituency of Sedgefield went blue (Tory), as did West Bromwich East, vacated by former Labour deputy leader Tom Watson.

The role of the British Indian community in this election was tremendous as it has been considered a supporter of the Labour Party but this time it had supported the Tories especially the prime minister himself, who has earned the community’s trust.

Now realizing that his chances of getting re-elected are looking slim, Sadiq Khan has expressed frustration and has described the poll as a “catastrophe” for the party. The mayor of London said for the fourth time in a row Labour had “failed” to put forward a compelling case to the British public.

His remarks came after Corbyn said he would quit in “the early part of next year”, in his first interview since Boris Johnson was returned to Downing Street with the biggest Tories majority in decades. People of the country have rejected the Islamist-driven leadership of Jeremy Corbyn, his party has become a den of Islamist while its leaders have become sympathisers of Islamic terrorism. Corbyn left no stones unturned in nurturing the Islamists in Britain even his party’s manifesto seemed to be engulfing these elements. It would have been a drastic situation for Britain if he had been elected PM of the country.

Labour Party had invited the wrath of the Indian community by protecting and nurturing the Khalistanis and Islamists. It had become an open supporter of these elements however this is a befitting slap for every anti India element including Khalistanis and Islamists. London Mayor Sadiq Khan who had won the election of 2016 with an overwhelming support of the Indian community is all set to feel its wrath in 2020 mayoral election, in which he would be seeking a re-election. With Sadiq Khan now lashing out at Corbyn for this terrible election it has become clearer that Sadiq Khan has realized that the next target of the British Indians would be him.

But to the disappointment of Khan, the wind has changed due to the anti India stance of Labour Party which it showcased by meddling in the Kashmir issue and by nurturing anti India forces. Therefore this time the British Indians, who are also in significant numbers in London, have mostly voted for the Tories. Khan’s stature had stooped very low with his active support of the anti-India propaganda and the recent attacks on Indian High Commission in London and his chances of getting re-elected looks quite thin.

Accepting their miscalculation regarding the Indians, Khan has stated after losing the election that the party now stands “more politically and culturally removed than ever before” from the people it was formed to represent.

Notably, Sadiq Khan is one of those people in Britain who have stood in the way of addressing rising Islamic radicalisation in London.  The Pakistani-origin mayor has done every possible thing to curate a conducive environment for radicals in London. However, hypocritically, he has never dared to attack the Islamist radical ideology which has been killing people around the globe and has often posed as an apologist of the same. The Indians have completely exposed Khan and his Pakistani brethren, they would make sure that he loses the mayoral election for his mischief and his pro Pakistan stance.
