Sadiq Khan condemns plans of Diwali protest, draws the line for Islamist buddies, but will he stop them?

40,000 British Pakistanis shall protest outside the Indian High Commission on Diwali which has been marked as 'Black Day'

London Mayor, Sadiq Khan who has been infamous for his poor track record as the UK Capital has become the hub of anti-establishment activities with the crime rate seeing a major rise too, has finally come out condemning plans to hold anti-India march over Kashmir on the auspicious occasion of Diwali. The intense backlash from the British Indians seems to have forced Sadiq Khan into reining in the nefarious elements who were planning a large scale protest outside the Indian High Commission.

An Indian-origin London Assembly member Navin Shah went on to seek a ban on the protest citing public order fears. Reacting to this letter, Sadiq Khan said, “I absolutely condemn the plans for a protest march to take place on the auspicious day of Diwali, in the vicinity of the Indian High Commission in London.” The Pakistan-origin, Labour Party leader also said, “This march will only deepen divisions at a time when Londoners need to come together. That is why I am calling on those organising the march and all those considering taking part in it to think again and cancel their plans.”

A ‘Kashmir cell’ within the Pakistan High Commission is understood to be the face behind the sinister designs. 40,000 British Pakistanis are planning to hold the next ‘Free Kashmir’ march this Diwali.

This is a conspiracy to vitiate the atmosphere of the Indian High Commission in London yet again and the day that the Pakistanis have chosen for hatching this sinister conspiracy is a clear and patent manifestation of their anti-Hindu agenda.

It is important to mention here that the Pakistanis had staged ugly and violent protests outside the Indian High Commission in London on India’ Independence Day. The Independence Day celebrations were marred and disrupted by British Pakistani and pro-Khalistan protesters who hurled stones and eggs at the embassy building and the Indians gathered outside.

One would have thought that it was a one-off incident but days later about 10,000 British Pakistanis marched to London in hundreds of train coaches from across the United Kingdom with the sole aim to deface and ambush the Indian High Commission (IHC) building.

The two incidents brought to fore the absolute anarchy and lawlessness that the UK Capital is in. It was as if the British Pakistanis enjoyed a free run to vitiate the atmosphere of the Indian High Commission and to resort to violent, unruly protests targeting British Indians. The London Mayor came under fire for all the right reasons. There are many reasons to suspect his involvement with Islamists. He did nothing concrete to show that he is serious about this situation. Sadiq Khan’s failure to foresee the clashes that took place on Indian Independence Day and even the ones that took place days later brought him under deep suspicion.

From a pure-political point of view, Sadiq Khan’s allegiances lie with the British-Pakistanis and he has no intention to perturb his biggest vote bank. Earlier, as a human rights lawyer, Sadiq Khan tried to get the UK to lift its ban on Louis Farrakhan, leader of the American Nation of Islam, who described the Jews as ‘blood-suckers’ and Hitler ‘a very great man’. Sadiq Khan also blamed the 7/7 London bombings, which killed 52, on British foreign policy. Moreover, the blatantly anti-India stance that the Labour Party has taken over the issue of Kashmir also made it clear which side the London Mayor, a Labour Party leader is on.

However, this time around, the London Mayor does not have the liberty of allowing the UK Capital to slip into anarchy even as the British Pakistanis backed by the Pakistan High Commission are planning to wreak havoc outside the Indian High Commission and that too on the occasion of Diwali. The British Pakistanis felt that they are enjoying a free run in the UK Capital with the Pakistan-origin Mayor in London showing no signs of curving them. Out of their sheer hatred for the Hindus, the British Pakistanis and Islamists chose Diwali as the day for organising a violent and unruly protest outside the Indian High Commission.

However, the Indian community in the UK has come out with an intense backlash forcing the London Mayor to change his unspoken policy of giving the Pakistanis a free run to voice their hatred against India and Hindus in an ugly and unruly manner.

It is clear that the Pakistanis and Islamists in the UK are not even hiding the communal agenda in their protests, by choosing Diwali as the day for targeting the Indian High Commission. Even the Pakistan Ministry of Interior has announced October 27, that is, Diwali as ‘Black Day’ just as the Indian Independence Day was observed as ‘Black Day’ by hateful Pakistanis.

The anti-Hindu propaganda and extremism, which has always formed an inherent part of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, is now amply clear in its agenda. However, with an intense backlash from Indians, the London Mayor is compelled to speak up against his Islamist buddies but it is yet to be seen if British Pakistanis still enjoy the kind of free run, under Sadiq Khan, that they enjoyed earlier as far as slipping the UK Capital into anarchy and vitiating the atmosphere of the Indian High Commission in London is concerned.
