Illegal Bangladeshi settlers are very many and very poor, Jamaat-ul-Mujahideen plans to use them against India

The left-liberals of India who are against NRC should be shown the recent statement of National Investigation Agency (NIA) Director-General Yogesh Chander Modi, who on Monday said that the Bangladeshi terror outfit Jamaat-ul-Mujahideen (JuM) is now expanding its area of operation and nefarious terror activities in India and has already expanded its footprints under the disguise of Bangladeshi immigrants in Bihar, Karnataka, Kerala, and Maharashtra.

The very basic idea of NRC was to eliminate such iniquitous elements who have illegally entered the borders of the country and are now challenging the internal security of the nation. Most of the illegal influx is from our neighbouring country Bangladesh which is one of the most densely populated countries in the world. Even though its economy has started to grow rapidly in the last few years, poverty is still rampant there and as a result, large scale migration takes place, especially towards India. “We are fully geared up and prepared to meet the challenge of such terror groups with the help of all the states. We are a central investigating agency and are coordinating with other similar agencies at the national as well as international level to tackle terrorism,” said the Director-General. He was addressing the chiefs of Anti-Terror Squads (ATS) and Special Task Forces (STF) of all the states where MoS Home G Kishan Reddy, NSA Ajit Doval, NIA DG YC Modi, former IB Special Director, and Nagaland Governor RN Ravi were also present.

Pakistan High Commission in Dhaka has been involved in financing JuM and in using the terror group in smuggling fake Indian currency notes through West Bengal and Assam. Illegal immigrants pose a massive threat to the security and safety of India. In recent times the situation has become much more grave as it is an imminent threat to national security. These illegal immigrants have spread all across India, especially in new cities and suburbs. Even in cities like Noida and Gurugram, you will find such immigrants. By just listening to their conversation and language, you will be able to infer that they are not native speakers. Most of the migrants are uneducated and do not have the means to sustain a livelihood and therefore they can be easily manipulated, brainwashed by terrorist organisations like JuM who just need to hand them weapons and they can create a hellhole in our cities by wreaking havoc.

The north-eastern states have been the worst hit by illegal immigrants and the difficulties faced by the people of the North-eastern states due to the influx of a large number of such immigrants include the loss of employment, business opportunities amongst others. These are accompanied by the destruction of the natural beauty, balance of the society and local culture due to the ever-increasing burden of illegal Bangladeshis.

These states have been suffering from a very long time due to a large influx of illegal immigrants but still, the left-liberals have shown absolutely no concern for the residents of the border states. And when a party like BJP which is serious about addressing the menace of illegal immigration takes up a stance, the whole of opposition goes against it and uses the situation for its age-old trick of electoral politics i.e ‘minority appeasement’.

Territory and citizens are the two most important aspects of a sovereign State. The principal duty of any government is to defend the borders of the country, prevent any trespass and make the life of its citizens safe and secure and it is something which the Prime Minister Modi led NDA is trying to achieve but the continuous bickering by the left-liberal class is not making things any easier. Jamat ul Mujahideen expanding in the country is a very big threat and the government should further amp up its operations to neutralize such terrorist outfits.
