“Bloodbath”, “Radicalization”, “Nukes” – Imran Khan delivers the most moronic speech in the history of UNGA

Imran Khan, Pakistan

Pakistan PM Imran Khan reached a different level of craziness yesterday during his UNGA speech in New York which has made him an object of derision. Imran Khan, who was handpicked, by the deep state in Pakistan, after the national elections conducted in the last year has spent a major chunk of his tenure trying to satisfy the Islamic Republic’s appetite for blind hatred towards India and Hindus. Driven to the verge of insanity during his UNGA speech, the Pakistan PM went on to show his mentally deranged state virtually acting like a warmonger and jihadist terrorist.

At a global forum meant for elected leaders of the international community of nations, Imran Khan spoke in a manner unbecoming of an elected head of government, even if it is the Pakistani government. However, this was the Pakistan PM speaking and his comments for not come as a surprise.

He went on to state, “there will be a bloodbath and another terror attack like Pulwama and Pakistan will be blamed.” It is still hard to believe that someone speaking at the UN General Assembly session went on to use terms like “bloodbath” and threatened that there shall be terror strikes.

It takes special talent to indulge in such tomfoolery. As if this diplomatic faux pas was not embarrassing enough, enslaved by habit, Imran Khan went on to raise the nuclear bogey at the General Assembly session. He said, “If the conventional war starts with a country which is four times the size of Pakistan, what will we do? This is what I ask myself a lot of times. But I say this, we will fight but think what happens when two nuclear countries fight.” Invoking the Prophet’s name, he added, “We will fight till the end”. One couldn’t help but notice the uncanny resemblance between Imran Khan’s moronic speech and an online Pakistani troll spamming Indian pages.

This speech has ended up making Imran Khan look like a lunatic who dropped a few screws right around the time Article 370 was removed. He actually went on to state, “RSS believes in the ethnic cleansing of Muslims. RSS goons butchered hundreds of Muslims. This is arrogance. This makes people do cruel things. Something PM Modi has done. Arrogance has blinded PM Modi.”

Making such undiplomatic and personal remarks about the Prime Minister of another country at the biggest global forum, is illustrative of intellectual bankruptcy of the worst kind. PM Modi did not even mention Pakistan, leave alone the man selected for the Prime Minister’s job by its military establishment. However, Imran Khan seemed to be badly obsessed with both India, Hindus and PM Modi and took PM Modi’s name ten times. By the time he said, “If there’s a bloodbath, Muslims will become radicals. You are forcing Muslims into radicalisation,” Imran Khan came out looking like an irrelevant, attention hungry leader becoming an object of derision before the entire world.

Hateful rhetoric aside, Imran Khan also ironically spoke on money-laundering and terror financing, but blamed “rich countries” for it. This comes at a time when Pakistan is haunted by the prospect of being blacklisted by the FATF, which would prove detrimental to its already crippled economy.

Imran Khan’s conduct fell just short of resembling a violent jihadist propagandist as he invoked the name of the Prophet at the UN General Assembly session several times following it up with threats of “bloodbath”, “radicalisation”, picking up the gun, fighting till the end and even an all-out conflict inflict between two nuclear countries. This is as close as a leader could have come to openly abetting terrorism at the highest global forum. With this speech, Imran Khan has set new lows when it comes to displaying lunacy in international engagements. With the his address, he has left behind Muammar Al Gaddafi, former Libyan Prime Minister who used to make headlines for his moronic behaviour and bizarre conspiracy theories.
