Two sacred threads and lots of liberal heart burn: Actor Ranganathan Madhavan’s ‘Sanskari appearance’ with Rakhi and Janeu loved by all but left-liberals

Madhavan, liberals, Rakhi

Actor Ranganathan Madhavan has been trending on social media due to his recent acts, as well as his decisions. One of his tweets has garnered numerous reactions on social media. Recently, on the occasion of Independence Day and Raksha Bandhan, Madhavan posted the following tweet showing off two sacred threads, the Rakhi and the Janeu, which sent left liberals into a frenzy.

In the said tweet, Madhavan was seeing getting the Rakhi sent by his sister tied by his son in traditional Brahmin attire, along with the celebration of Avani Avittam. For those unaware, Avani Avittam is the occasion, wherein Tamil Brahmins exchange their Janeus. This is not all; Madhavan posted a photo of his father, his son and himself in the traditional Indian attire on his social media accounts as shown below –

On one hand Madhavan was appreciated by scores of social media users, while on the other hand his actions brought the ire of the left liberals. A number of left liberal users tried to troll him for his decision, as shown below –

The tweets say it clearly – left liberals abhor people who openly embrace the Sanatan culture. It comes as no surprise when we learn of left liberals trolling badminton player PV Sindhu for embracing the traditional Sanatan culture. Madhavan dropped a double bomb on the deracinated social media warriors with both the Janeu and the Rakhi.

However, this is not anything new for R Madhavan. He was trolled by these very left liberals for siding with PM Modi before the Lok Sabha polls. Congress at that time posted an extremely objectionable post on Twitter against PM Modi, for which R Madhavan took them to the cleaners. Despite being heckled by left liberal goons like Sanjukta Basu, Madhavan gave a befitting reply to such people without stooping to their level.

Madhavan is also targeted by the left liberals due to one more reason. He is recently making a trilingual movie ‘Rocketry – The Nambi Effect’, which is based on the trials and tribulations of former ISRO scientist Shankarlingam Nambi Narayanan. Nambi Narayanan had discovered a technique that would not only save millions of rupees for Indian satellite missions, but would also propel ISRO to directly compete with NASA. ISRO, now famous for its cost effective space missions, would have achieved this scientific prowess way back in the 1990s, had Nambi Narayanan not been falsely framed by the then Congress government in Kerala in an incident that reeked of sabotage of Indian interests at the behest of foreign powers. Not only was Nambi Narayanan’s reputation in tatters, but also the ISRO space technology was thrown 2 decades back. Now as the Madhavan starrer is set to depict anti-India elements that framed Nambi Narayan, left liberals are not very enthused.

In such a scenario, Madhavan’s act of openly embracing Sanatan culture inspires many people, especially those from the Sanatan fold. We hope that he continues to inspire us with great films and he continues to put forward his views with the same alacrity as before.
