Indian origin British singer cum rapper Taran Kaur Dhillon aka Hard Kaur is once again in the limelight, and this time again for all the wrong reasons. This time, Hard Kaur has spewed venom against India in the context of the removal of the controversial Article 370. In a video, which recently went viral on social media, Hard Kaur supported the Khalistan movement, while abusing Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Home Minister Amit Shah.
In the mentioned video, Hard Kaur can be seen supporting the ‘Referendum 2020’ movement, which basically calls for the proposed region of Khalistan to secede from India. In this video, Hard Kaur and the other secessionists abused PM Narendra Modi and Amit Shah, and then said that this 15th of August won’t be celebrated as Independence Day, but will see the introduction of Referendum 2020. Apart from that Hard Kaur has also mentioned that she would unfurl the Khalistani flag in front of the Indian embassy on 15 August.

This is not all. Hard Kaur squarely denied the allegations of promoting sedition, saying, “I haven’t murdered someone. I haven’t raped anyone. I only criticize, which is my right. All the girls who are seeing my video should know that. I never kept a gun with me in any video, I never talked about guns. My brain and hands are strong enough.”
Agitating for her unconstitutional demand of a separate Khalistan, she said, “This is our right, and we shall have it. This 15th of August is not an Independence Day for us Sikhs. On this day, unfurl the Khalistani flags and show them that we shall not stay silent. We shall unfurl the Khalistani flag in front of the Indian High Commission in the UK.”
However, this is not the first occasion when Hard Kaur has made unfavorable comments against India or any Indian representative. Before this video, Hard Kaur was trolled on the social media for her extremely objectionable posts against the UP CM Yogi Adityanath [whom she called a rapist], and RSS Sarsanghchalak, Mohan Bhagwat [whom she labeled as ‘terrorist’]. When people protested against these posts, she responded in an extremely abusive manner. The situation turned for the worse, and soon enough, her Twitter account was suspended on these grounds.
In 2013, Hard Kaur had abused the Sikh community in an event, for which she had to publicly apologize as well. Recently, Hard Kaur was booked for her seditious posts as well. She also didn’t hesitate from showing her love for Pakistan on the removal of Article 370. Hard Kaur has also kept an anti India photo as her FB cover page, titled ‘Kashmir to Khalistan’. However, this only depicts the frustration of such anti Indian elements, which’re aghast at the removal of Article 370. Punjab is an integral part of India, just like Jammu, Kashmir & Ladakh, and no matter how much they try, they shall never succeed in breaking India apart.
