The gruesome murder of a 3 year old girl from Aligarh has pushed the nation into a state of shock and anger. Zahid, the main accused in the case is believed to have had an argument with the victim’s grandfather and uncle over a loan. Reportedly, the accused lived in victim’s neighborhood. However, it is still unclear whether he had kidnapped the victim and hid her in his home before murdering her. Body of the three year old was found not far from her house, in a horrific semi-decomposed state.

Not surprisingly the mainstream media decided to conveniently underplay this heinous crime as the identity of the accused does not fit well with their political agenda. However as the outrage over the horrific incident stacks on, Left-liberals are being forced to come out of their self imposed slumber because of their insecurity and guilt. Nonetheless left-liberals made sure that their ‘concerns’ for the 3 year old victim were filled with skewed biases and insensitive overtones.

One such insensitive comment came from another left-liberal journalist. Senior Journalist Saba Naqvi has raised questions over the legitimacy of the protests against the murder of a 3 year old and hinted that there was an attempt to communalise the crime because Kathua’s hearing was due. She tweeted:

“Now we know why there was an attempt to communalize #AligarhMurder of child and create false parity with #KathuaRapeCase where child also murdered…”

Saba Naqvi’s remarks came on the day of verdict in Kathua case. This is the same Kathua incident which saw the left-liberal gang fiddling with the identities of the accused and the victim to paint the whole incident in communal colors. However the Aligarh incident met with deafening silence from the same people who even went on to blame Hinduism for the horrendous crime in Kathua. The outrage against the left liberal gang for their silence over Aligarh rape case might have also partly prompted these illogical and insensitive comments from Saba Naqvi and others. Ravish Kumar, Swara Bhasker and other liberal heroes either haven’t commented on the Aligarh case or have in a similar fashion offered bizarre twisted arguments.

The left-liberals gang which is frequently seen holding placards, rallying in candle marches, etc are mostly  silent on this gruesome act against humanity, evidently because of the same reason as the mainstream media which  has been called out time and time again for blatantly whitewashing or totally eliminating the reportage of crimes committed by a ‘certain community’ in India.

These comments by Saba Naqvi which equate the nation’s outrage against heinous crime as attempts to create ‘false parity’ are not only condemnable but also raise questions of whether these horrible incidents are anything more than political fodder for these left liberals. As a part of their vote bank politics, various political parties and left-liberals under their patronage have made every attempt to put the Hindu community in a bad light and at the same time turn a blind eye to all the crimes committed by other minority community.  Nonetheless, India does not need the hypocrisy of left-liberals to fight against ghastly crimes irrespective of the identity of the perpetrators and this horrific act in Aligarh surely calls for the harshest of punishments like the Kathua incident.
