Doesn’t the word ‘Saffron Terrorism’ ring a bell in your mind? An entire hoax, created by sycophants backed by the then UPA government, in order to appease the minority communities, has now fallen flat on the face after more than a decade. In order to further make the masses aware about the propaganda, four films on the Hindu terror hoax will be released online soon.
According to Vishwa Samvad Kendra, a media cell associated with Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, four films, including a documentary, will be released online, that will talk about how the hoax of Hindu terror was created in order to harass and insult the Sanatanis by the UPA government during 2007-09. Produced by journalist Raj Chawla, the first in the four film series is titled ‘Bhagwa Aatank Brahmajaal’ [The illusion of Saffron Terror]. According to the head of the RSS Delhi media cell, Shri Rajeev Tuli, “The term Hindu terror was coined by the Congress and the hidden facts about the cases that were filed should be brought out. We welcome the initiative to present the hidden side of these cases.”
To quote Raj Chawla, “Being a journalist, I followed these cases and wanted to bring out the reasons based on which the courts gave their decisions. These documentaries explore how evidence was produced and in some cases even cooked.” Though RSS has supported the concept, Raj has clarified that neither RSS has financed this project, nor have they invested financially in the same.
Following the bomb blasts in the Samjhauta Express and the town of Malegaon in 2008, the Maharashtra ATS alleged that members of Abhinav Bharat like Sadhvi Pragya Thakur, and army officers Lt. Col. Prasad Shrikant Purohit, Major Ramesh Upadhyay etc. were involved in the bomb blasts, guided by RSS influenced activist Swami Aseemanand.
This propelled Congress to coin the term ‘Hindu terror’, and like the officers arrested in the Ishrat Jahan encounter case, the suspects were brutally tortured, to the extent that Sadhvi Pragya procured breast cancer, and Lt. Col. Prasad Shrikant Purohit’s feet were almost reduced to a pulp. They had almost succeeded in branding ‘26/11’ as an RSS conspiracy, had it not been for martyred ASI Tukaram Omble, who managed to capture Ajmal Kasab alive.
It was only in 2017, that the investigative officers from NIA revealed the dark truth behind the conspiracy, which had almost destroyed the lives of the suspects in question. Interestingly, some of the original suspects who were actually responsible for the attacks were mysteriously let off by Congress led UPA government, and sadly no inquiry has been initiated against the same till date.
As such, it is good to know that people like Raj Chawla have taken the risk to cover one of the darkest episodes in the history of Indian politics. We hope that the documentary minces no words in bashing the Congress for their absurd politics, which had almost destroyed the ethos of India for the sake of minority appeasement.
